Tina so glad your sis met Damien and it was such a lovely night, sounds like you really enjoyed taking in the sounds Oz, fantastic to see there was a signing and you were able to see Damien! Looking forward to hearing about the set list etc  |

That's great, Oz..... I asked my sis what Damien sang and she said "oh, some old ones and some new ones".... so no hope of a set list from her!  lol ok looks like it's up to you Oz Wow and Sky!!! Fantastic to read that was played tonight! |

lol shims ... I am sitting here with a set list based on the lyrics ...I have the actual lyrics in one hand and the coded list in the other ...

My set-lists are usually the first letters of each song name, and when they're written in the dark I can hardly decipher later Would love to hear about the venue too, is it a nice showroom? |

at your dh's attempt at the set list Oz, at least he tried, I'm glad you got to see Damien after the show and yay at Tina's sister getting to meet you and Damien too, its great that you all had a fantastic night

SKY!!!! You lucky buggers I adore that song!! Wish D had sung that one for us at some stage this tour. I'd much prefer that than Annies Song! Glad you all got to meet D afterwards for a signing! can't wait to find out the rest of the set list! but not holding my breath either Can't wait to see piccies and hear your recording Oz.  |

My sis has posted a lovely pic of herself and Damien on facebook, I've copied it to my facebook profile if anyone is interested in having a look.... can't really post it here! Looks like she made the most of her 'connections' !!  Damien looks like he was wearing a lovely suede jacket (so soft and cuddly  ) , grey t-shirt with print and black pants! ... there you go, wardrobe report and I wasn't even there!! Will try to post a photo that she sent of the three of them on the stage.... looks like there was no Ceasar last night. |

 WOW fantastic night from start to finish. first had it all planned get there early be first in line and as usual it all went pear shaped. stopped at Brunswick for dinner, then arrived at RSL club 7.30, so decided to play the pokies, between SIL and me we won nearly $200.00. but found ourselves way at the end of the queue. Managed a side seat all the rest were taken. crowd looked quite good. young and old mixture. As Oz said support act was good, so put everyone in a good mood. Damien arrived while Eric and Asha were playing RJ to a great applause. Geez Oz I was hoping you had the set list, grabbed my toothbrush instead of pen and no one around had a pen. 1 RJ  2 Annies song 3 To get to you 4 beautiful on piano. devine sorry no particular order now. I don't like Mondays Ride on fields of altheny rocky road to Dublin Still thinking)

magic of vids. started off with BILYW. Asha made a mistake so had to dance, then Eric said Damien did so he did the jig. got all serious.and straight into Unchained melody  Crying  Sky on piano piano solo Hallelujah stunned silence. Crying was Damien on guitar accompanied by loud booming music coming from a wedding next door. He made a little joke at the end that is the first time hes had ommpah music in the background. A lady at the back yelled out Damien can you play Sky. he said I don't know Ill see, put his guitar down and sat at the piano. |

Sounds like you had a fabulous night too Tara!! - and a big hug and kiss!! woooo hooooooooooo! My sis was quite taken with Damien's personality, she said she didn't expect him to be so funny and cheeky as she had never seen that side of him on Australian Idol (this is the first time she has seen him perform live, other than a few songs at St Patrick's Day 2007). She mentioned the buns of steel jokes a few times. Also said that it was George's birthday and Damien had told everyone to go and give him a kiss at the end of the show.... but he said 'Go and give him a pecker on the cheek'..... then 'whoops, that didn't come out quite right', which she said started off a whole line of banter. She talked to me non-stop on the phone about the gig for 30 minutes this afternoon, so safe to say she had a great night and has told me she will definitely go again! My 18 yr old nephew said he enjoyed it too and it was a good show, but not really his type of music (he's more into AC/DC metal music!!)  |
