Thanks for the reports, Tina and shadow. Wow! D doing an Oprah and giving away his EP! Ain't he sweet? SQUEEEE! I'm downloading it as we speak! Can't wait to hear Harry ( not Henry) and Plastic Man too! I saw that Eric tweeted about Caesar joining them for this leg of the tour. I bet the pipe sounded amazing!! I love South American music, and I think it and Irish music go together really well. We're all curious about Indi though. Her violin is being missed, by the sounds of it. Tut Tut Tina, You should have known it was The Fields of Athenry.. we've mentioned it a few times now. Were you in The Coma when you reported back? Glad you got to your hug from D. ;D Didn't like the sound of the drunk manhandling him though. and love The Bunny Ears! ;D I hope poor generous D doesn't get confused and jetlagged with all the time zone swapping he's about to do, especially with the end of Daylight Saving looming! He'd be on his way over here by now.

Damien was fantastic last night, the crowd really loved him and he was very funny, his voice sounded a bit tired but still beautiful. The place was packed even people sitting outside,
He said Indi had left to do her own thing or something like that. The signed CD was a nice surprise. I can't beleive he sang Nessson Dorma it was amazing, there were a lot of men there that were really enjoying him as well, and when he sang Nesson Dorma I heard one of them say brilliant. Only thing wrong it was a bit too loud and couldn't hear his voice properly.

Thank you so much for your reports Tina, Shadow and Zeeta! Sounded like a great show! With a packed house as well, nice! OMGOSH! How awesome is Damien giving away his single!? Wow, I'm impressed! Ha! ;D Lol at the Bunny ears! And so happy that you got a and from D Tina, it's always a lovely way to top off the night isn't it? Hmm, Indi doing her own thing? Maybe she feels she needed to focus more on her own CD. It's definitely weird without her! I miss her! Hopefully she'll come back. But would love to hear the other guys though, sounds interesting! ;D

I will so miss her Violin playing, it adds such a great element to the shows. I wonder if this is just temp? I agree Shadow re Forgive Forget! he should be singing, it's such a great song, and done on the piano (from what some of the others have said) it sounds fantastic!

Sorry for the late report but I got home late last night and crashed into bed. Been a long week here. Like Zeeta said, it sounds like Indi is moving on. Very sad as Annies Song is one of my all time favourites of D's. It still sounded lovely with the pipe...but just not the same without Indi My poor daughter is deaf... ;D I had to warn her when I was going to whistle...hee hee. D at one stage said...some serious whistling going on here. YER baby It was a lovely night. Nice mix of songs and I adored the Horses song. Just stunning. Also when Eric cut sick with Stairway to Heaven. OMG that guy can play the guitar. I have a few photos of Eric whilst playing this. Wish I could go tonight but can't get there. Just the wrong weekend for us here as it's the start of the kids school holidays as well. Just not good timing. Maybe next time D comes here I can make a few more concerts. OK...off to figure out how to post photos again...it's been a while

How lovely to come back and read more about this fabulous event....... still fresh in my mind!
When I spoke to George after the event he said that Indi had gone off to do her own thing, and he also said that Damien was wanting to pursue new sound directions as well, so it was a mutual decision (I think that is the gist of what he said, not word for word, my memory almost a week later is a bit dim!)
