I think they said he had signed CDs on sale, Shims.

Signed CDs, that's a good idea, people might feel more inclined to buy them if they're signed.

It was advertised in the tv guide last week and he's on the front page of todays so that would have got a lot of people in. He played the piano quite a bit ;D The others have got the set list so I'll let them tell you all when they get back. I can't remember all of them now anyway, need sleep

OMG, what a show !

Damien looked HAWT ! Dressed in a black jacket which was taken off very early on to the delight of a few ladies in the front, . I think someone may have yelled out keep going. Black jeans a white and black printed t-shirt and black shoes.

I have not got the full setlist as Roxy has it. There was something like 23 songs but I will list the songs I can remember.

There were also a few Irish songs which I loved. We were all in fine voice last night.

Sorry I haven't had much sleep so the rest of the songs will come back to me later.

It was great meeting up with all the Brissy s again. Roxy, Sister and I had a ball. I asked Roxy whether we would be getting a little pressie for D and when she told me what she had in mind, I told her I thought that would be a nice pressie. We were just a little worried whether we would be able to find one in Toowoomba but eventually we located a store and there it was as soon as we walked in the door. So off we went to get a little gift box for it as we had to make sure it was well presented. Sister had the honour of handing it to him. ;D I won't tell you what it was, I'll leave that up to Roxy.

Damien is a good sport and has got a great sense of humour. ;D

Before the show we met up with Smiley, Lynlest and Houndsy. We also met Irishrokit once we found our seats.

Even though he had to go back to Brisbane straight away, it was lovely of D to come out after the show and sign our cds.

It was great to see the show was sold out and I'm so looking forward to the next three shows.

I better go soon and get a little sleep before tonight's show.

Did he end up coming out afterwards? Thought he would have wanted to leave quickly plus we had an asleep child to get home for school. He was worth taking, fell asleep halfway He wasn't going to go to school today if he was up late but he saw some teachers from his school there, busted

He sang Carrickfergus and Wild Rover too plus 2 other irish songs I hadn't heard before. Danny Boy, Guitar Man, Wicked Game. That's all I remember on 6 hours sleep

I won't put my pics up until they tell you about the present because there's some pics of it in there since he kept it for the rest of the night

Awesome Show! FULL STOP!


As you know the venue was at a Golf Course, and it was a BIG venue! This show was Sold Out to 375 people!! Very nice, and lovely views from the dining/bar areas.
There was no support act, Damien came on at 8pm and didn’t leave the stage until around 10.20pm, and there was a short interval.

Ok Sis can’t count, or way too many brandys for her! she counted up the songs on her piece of paper and said there was 23!!! It may have seemed that many, as she counted all the jamming sessions! But I've just typed the list out above and there are 18!!

Damien came out wearing Black Jeans, Grey top and Jacket, and Black Croc? Snake? Boots!! (nice) and nice BLING belt!!
He sang Remember June straight away after Indi’s intro, and then had a little chat to the crowd, in which he looked down at us and said…and these SEXY girls in the front! Awww we all felt so special and instantly Sexy!! LOL.

The crowd was a tad on the quiet side to start with, but I think they seemed to really appreciate slower songs as much as they did the lounder ones, and were mesmerised by Damien's voice! I looked around the room a few times and they were all entralled! no fidgeting or chatter going on, just eyes on Damien!

The 2nd half of the show got interesting!!

As Bella said, we did a little shopping earlier in the day and found something suitable for Damien! Just a little pressie to remember us by! We even found it in his colour! A MANKINI!!


OMG you should of seen Damien's face when he opened the box!.... oh wait, you can see it!! I videoed it!!! (I'll upload it and put it in C&A later)

We got to see Damien after the show, and had a kiss and cuddle and we got to look at the book too! Lynlest gave D a beautiful pressie, I'll let her tell you all what it was. I have a little photo of him holding too, so I'll only post it if she wants me too.

Not sure that I love the set list. :-\ Good that he's playing FF (even though it's acoustic), but there aren't enough RJ songs on there for my liking. You'd think, with a piano there, that he'd play Golden Line. That was a crowd favourite at State Theatre. We want MORE RJ, D!

Lol at the "sexy girls" comment. Well, s always say it about him, how nice of him to say it back.

And lol at the mankini! I look forward to seeing that video.

However, he sang for 2 and a half hours! Hooley Dooley! ..even if it was 18 songs, not 23 I bet the crowd loved the trad Irish music..and the dirty ditty! Damien plays what he believes will go down well with a particular crowd, he's brilliant at it.

Personally, I love the Fields Of Athenry, what a gorgeous song and I'm glad to see he's singing songs from all his albums.

Piano sounds brilliant..and I love the idea of FF on it too, Rox, that's a great suggestion!

Sounds like you sexy ladies had a ball!
