Was that Carrickfergus? I think that was the song he said he usually sings the wrong lyrics too? Ronan sang it on one of his albums and the lyrics were quite different to what Damien sang

I would have thought he would have sang more from RJ too spud and he really only sang FF because it was requested. He said at the end you really need the drums and everything for it to sound great. He was still brilliant though. 2 hours of Damien, I don't care too much what he sings ;D

Oh WOW Carrickfergus?? I hope so much that Damien leaves that Irish one on the list, I've never heard him sing it and would love it so much, it's one of my fav songs.


So glad Fields of Athenry is on the Irish ones list too, that was great at the Vanguard that time.

Really hope that Golden Line makes it's way onto the setlist though, it's one of the best songs Damien's ever written, even though there's not full band for it this show, it was still so great in acoustic that night at Lizottes. Actually, I would even go so far as to say I love the acoustic version even more than the album version.

Thanks for that Irishrockit, that's "Ride On", I've got that one on a Christy Moore album, it's a gorgous song! Must be one of the Christy Moore ones Damien has been mentioning, would love to hear Damien sing that one too!

Yeah, the shows are very Irish based, as the book is coming out in April and is set in Ireland, plus RJ being Irish connected too, D is tying it all in together. and makes reference to it in the show.
