Was that Carrickfergus? I think that was the song he said he usually sings the wrong lyrics too? Ronan sang it on one of his albums and the lyrics were quite different to what Damien sang I would have thought he would have sang more from RJ too spud and he really only sang FF because it was requested. He said at the end you really need the drums and everything for it to sound great. He was still brilliant though. 2 hours of Damien, I don't care too much what he sings ;D

Oh WOW Carrickfergus?? I hope so much that Damien leaves that Irish one on the list, I've never heard him sing it and would love it so much, it's one of my fav songs. So glad Fields of Athenry is on the Irish ones list too, that was great at the Vanguard that time. Really hope that Golden Line makes it's way onto the setlist though, it's one of the best songs Damien's ever written, even though there's not full band for it this show, it was still so great in acoustic that night at Lizottes. Actually, I would even go so far as to say I love the acoustic version even more than the album version. Thanks so much Bella, Roxy & Irishrokit! It's great to hear all about the first show and so glad it was such a success!! Sounds like it was a great long show too, and so many highlights with Beautiful and Goodnight as well. Wow, I wonder which song the Horses one is?? Can't think what it could be??

Looks like you had a fantastic night! Interesting setlist - I think it will be a cracking show, but I agree that I would like to see more RJ songs! The mankini is inspired - but scary!! I can't believe you found it in Toowoomba - and perfect colour too!! .......... do you think he'll wear it? ??

Wow - what a full night of D-luving LOL scary mankini alright! I don't even want to imagine it on D wtg Brissy girls I'm hoping that when it comes to my turn, there'll be more RJ songs too especially Wouldn't change a Thing, See You Again and Golden Line (yes, I know this is mesmerizing as an acoustic)... and maybe less of the AI-cover repeats?... shame you missed the signing Irishrockit - Damien can't do it most shows nowadays. Nice to hear of the full house Thanks for the reports Irishrockit, Bella and Roxy

Thanks for the reports you girls crack me up with the Mankini. I also would like more songs from RJ especially Golden Line. But when D does the Gaels its usually very Irish based. Maybe those of us going on the Friday could write a setlist to give him for the Saturday

Yeah, the shows are very Irish based, as the book is coming out in April and is set in Ireland, plus RJ being Irish connected too, D is tying it all in together. and makes reference to it in the show.
