WHAT A WEEKEND!

I'm still very much on cloud 9! And I'm still so tired and delirious, my brain WILL NOT FUNCTION FOR DAYS! I can tell you that now!

Of course, WE HAD A BALL!

Princey, Di and myself were all up at about 3 Saturday morning. I had to meet at Di's and then we headed off over to Princey's, then Princey's DH drove us to the airport
Very quick flight over, well for me it was lol! I listened to about
4 or 5 Damien songs and then we were already descending into Sydney and I was like "WHAT THE! YAY! ;D "
I think I'm just used to longer flights, my last one was 18 hours lol

So, we arrived in Sunny Sydney ;D Man it was HOT! It was all weekend.
We caught the train into Circular Quay and straight away went to see The Bridge and Opera House lol, I've never been to Sydney so yeah ;D Hung around there and had lunch etc.
We then headed off to Revesby! And straight away when we got off the train we saw the Workers Club, so of course we went inside to explore!
LOL! I swear this part of the trip was the funniest thing ever! But you just had to be there obviously
We walked in and started talking to the guy at the front desk, and telling him we came up from Melbourne to see Damien. I think he said something like "What's so good about him?"
We walked around and looked at the pretteh they had around
We then went to our hotel, had a bit of a rest and then got ready! Braffy kindly picked us up, then we met up with the ladies and had dinner at the club.

I WAS SO NERVOUS! I don't know why! ( it was a good sick feeling lol! ) I just couldn't believe I was in Sydney seeing him, so I was double excited ;D! SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

We had the the table front and centre, but there was a bit of a gap between Damien and the tables STILL GOOD SEATS!

THE SHOW WAS OMGGGGGG, SOOOO AMAZING!!!
Damien was oustanding as usual!

Wardrobe report!!!!
Greyish jeans, black shoes, TIGHT GREY V NECK T-SHIRT! (chest hair in full view! at about stage 3 and a half ) And Grey leather jacket. So he was very...Grey But looked super HAWT!
Lol, I think it was eric that said Damien got that t-shirt from Jarvis it was so tight!

DAMIEN PLAYED WOULDN'T CHANGE A THING!!!!
SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!

I love you Damien! Thank you thank you thank you! (And Braffy ) First time I had heard it live! I was in absolute heaven when he sang it! Omgosh I couldn't believe it! ;D
And he was even more gorgeous mentioning us Melb girls coming all the way up! Awwww!
Lol, it was kinda funny though, at first I thought it was going to be See You Again. I looked at Carla and we were like "OMGOMGOMGOMG! " But then he said WCAT and it was just as good!

Unchained Melody!!! And Message To My Girl!!!
AHHHHH!!!! When he was asking for requests of Songs, of course I kept saying See You Again But then I yelled out UM and HE DID IT! ;D I screamed pretty loud when he started doing it, that's what has made my throat so sore, It still is now
It was already on the setlist I found out afterwards, BUT STILL! It was like he did it for me Haha.
Then MTMG was just mind-blowing! Like Carla, I was just a mess! I love it when he sings it live! Espesh on the Piano!

The Drums bit was also a highlight Damien was so cute and funny And he did a great job! ( I think you were secretly better D, don't worry )

Anyways I feel like I'm just crapping on and repeating what some of the other girls said, but like I said up the top I'm still DELIRIOUSSSS

Btw, Damien was so sweet to come out and see us for a bit afterwards! It was a lovely way to top off the night!
And Of course Jarvis and Jagger being there was cool as well! I've never seen them before and they're even more cute in real life hehe ;D It was so funny in the middle of the show the boys yelled out "DAMIEN LEITH!" And then Damien laughed and said "Give me a D!"
Eils looked gorgeous too!

Thank you so much to the Sydney girls for making the weekend extra special

Krissy you crack me up, Ms International Traveller. I agree, Mel-Syd is like a short busride... that's why we do it to see D and catch up with our lovely mates. It's a doddle!

So glad he did WCAT *swoon* . Would have loved to have heard him on the bodhran!
It's a pity Indi couldn't make it, but I guess stuff happens.

Oww, Stage 3 and a half sounds interesting! Must go check this out VERY soon! Bahaha, @ Eric telling D to give Jarvis his tshirt back!

Aww. How cute of them calling out to Daddy on the stage. Would love to meet the boys one day, after watching them growing up.

Finally a bit of time to post my report, although I guess there's not much more to add.

It was a great weekend, it was so great catching up with Carla, Braffy, Spud, Kazza, Michelle, Maggiemay and Nuffy and what a great time me and my travelling buddies had Thanks Krissy & Di we had a lot of fun
Damien was awesome as usual, you've seen the setlist and heard the wardrobe report, Damien looked really HAWT and sounded D-vine

Before the show we all went and had dinner in another part of the club, after that we went and sat in the cafe to wait before the show started, 2 little decided to go for a walk upstairs and were very excited to hear a sound check happening behind some big closed doors, we were able to see a bit of what was happening through the tiny cracks. We went back downstairs and then we all went up together, the doors opened and we went to get our seats. Diana Rouvos was on first, she was ok, but I couldn't wait to see & hear Damien, of course.
It was great that D mentioned the Melbourne girls travelling up to see him and then sang WCAT, one of my favourite songs too
There wasn't much audience participation except from a couple of tables but the show was fantastic, I was really impressed with the bodhran but did miss Indi.

I hope this all makes sense, I'm still very tired, the early shifts at work are a killer after such a huge weekend.
I just wish I had another show to look forward to

Great reading about your adventure girls, Sounds like a great show, even if the audience was a little slow!! and quiet! I'm sure you all made up for it.

Isn't it a great feeling when you travel to hear Damien sing, part of you is just excited to be travelling full stop! and a part is excited to be meeting all the other , then you have added excitement of why you are there in the first place, to hear Damien sing! it really is a fantastic feeling! so I understand your feelings of nervousness Krissy! It's everything all mixed together.


So glad he sang some favourite songs for you all, and lovely of D to mention the interstate travellers too.

Unordinary World is fantastic acoustically too! Wow. I just love it. I wonder why they don't do the arrangement with Eric singing the quiet "hey-hey... hey" parts in the background? I really love that part on the album. siiiigh...

Nuffy I totally agree with this, and I'd love for Eric to also add that to the song. It really is the most hauntingly beautiful song and hope he never stops singing it.


Glad Krissy and Spuddy finally got to meet! Awwww how sweet. ;D

Ooops I forgot to comment on Indi's absence! What a shame she couldn't be there, I hope everything is ok for her and hopefully be back with the boys soon. It must of been pretty weird her not being there. Lucky you all had KEVIN!! Wish he was travelling with them, I would love to hear his Bodran playing again! The Bodran would be an amazing additition to the show I reckon.

Nuffy hopefully you'll have another gig to look forward to if your plans work out, the last one is always bittersweet as you just want to do it all again as soon as the show finishes. Was so great you could go to this one as it was your local. Sounds like a lovely club there! Sorry that was your last this tour Princey, it's great that it was such a fantastic one to hold precious memories from


Wow @ teh chest hair - "level 3 1/2" baby , this fashion trend should definitely be encouraged to continue - Damien is looking amazing and let's hope he keeps that t-shirt nice and close to the top of the pile to wear frequently

Hi Bella, it was a wonderful night, I had ther best weekend with everyone, yes this was my last show for this tour as for the sleep, I don't think you ever catch up, but hey it was worth it
