The Idols were on the 5pm news on TEN last Monday as well, if you get the Sydney news you should watch for them next week I think.
They sing an acousitc version of each week's group song. Last week a nice "Eagle Rock" - this week was "Gonna be a Heartbreak Tonight" - I really like when they all sing acoustic together, their voices blend really well.

damn! I missed this :'-( . I was going to put a bet on Yates (yes it's the Irish horse, but also as it's an Irish horse, it's from the Curragh County Kildare. Which is where my Dad is from). The annoying thing is this horse was in front and came sooo close..ah well

Lol, the Melbourne Cup is the most impossibly hard race of the year to pick the winner, there's 24 of the best horses! And yet this is the one we all pick to try once a year. |

I was having a fit - how good would it have been if Yeats won? It would've been a good omen for Damien - like horse, like backer!

The Idols were just on the weather report again today!
Tim Bailey the weatherman said of him "The smiling Irishman, on you television screen!" (I'm grateful, Tim!)
Damien took over guitar duties now that Chris has left; they performed U2's 'One Love' for tonight's group performance, and I'm happy to say Damien dominated the snippet they performed ;D
All three idols made general comments about how excited and nervous they are and how happy they are to have made it this far. (Damien described them as 'best mates'. How Aussie!)
