You have been able to post Lynlest. Are you able to give us a report from the shows that you went to?

Blame my inexperience with computers. Crowd response was great at all four shows. Two standing ovations at Victoria Point, first for Nessun Dorma.

Classic moment. As Damien sang the first few bars of Wicked Game an audible gasp of 'Oh my God' as one member realized what she was going to hear. Whole crowd erupted with fits of laughter Damien included. Took him a few moments to compose himself. Woohoo, you can post Nice to see you again Lynlest Check your pms too, I've sent you my email. ;D Glad you and Bella had a great night, sounds like this one really went off. How funny is that, it's the show that D said probably wouldn't be that good! and turns out to be the best one of our tour!! Must of been because some of us weren't there!

It was if she was having an O..... Damien said "well you can come to all of my shows". It was funny at first but then it got a bit much. I think she had had too many . It was strange how I looked over to where she was seated after the interval and she wasn't there.

How funny is that, it's the show that D said probably wouldn't be that good! and turns out to be the best one of our tour!! Roxy, when Damien said that to us about the Caloundra show, I thought to myself, "well, we shall see about that". And I was right. ;D At different stages of the show, I looked around at the audience and I could tell they absolutely loved Damien. They had these huge grins on their faces, they were standing up and clapping, singing along and got really involved. They went off after practically every song. It brought a tear of joy to my eye. It was just great. Oh, I must mention, all who attended the Caloundra show were pretty good singers. I think we have set the bar for the rest of the tour. ;D Thank-you Damien for such a wonderful show. Out of the four Queensland shows, I would say that the Caloundra one was definitely the best show !

This was a fantastic show and the audience absolutely loved Damien ! They were really into it, singing and clapping along. I found my seat a few minutes before starting time and was seated next to Lynlest. I was in the front row but not directly in front which is a good thing I suppose as Damien would have probably thought to himself "oh no, not her again". Damien was dressed in a red t-shirt with purple printing, blue jeans, black shoes and a black jacket. I love him in red. Damien was in fine form with the jokes/funny stories and everyone loved them. The setlist was similar to the previous concerts. The only different song was "IF". I absolutely love "Fields Of Athenry". At the interval, I went and found Houndsy and said hello. She had won 2 free tickets to the concert but I think she ended up just going by herself. I could see that a lady at the table kept looking at me taking notes. She couldn't understand why I was doing it and so I had to explain it to her. Eric was there and came on for one song. I think it was Hallejulah. After the show Lynlest, Houndsy and I went over to the side of the stage to say a quick hello to Eric. I gave him a hug and he gave me a kiss. He looked tired as I think he had just gotten back from India. He will be playing with Damien for the rest of the tour as Jimmy is going into the navy. Lynest and I decided that we would go as we didn't expect Damien to come out. We had already seen him at Toowoomba and Redcliffe. I would hate for him to ever feel obliged that he has to come out and say hello to us. When we left Houndsy was still there and I heard from a reliable source that she had managed to get backstage and spend some time with Damien. It is just too bad that Houndsy is no longer a member of this forum as she could have come on here and gave us details of what happened backstage. I would imagine, it would have been interesting. What a great report Bella, it sounded like you had the most fantastic time! So great that you got to hear "IF" and see Eric as well! Jimmy is going to go into the Navy? Glad we got to see him once more then at the DotG, it might be a long time till we see him again , I wonder if he will stay on doing music? All the best to him, hope he stays safe Classic moment. Took him a few moments to compose himself. Hey lynlest, glad you could post! Wicked Game really gets a reaction through the crowd when people realise what is just about to be sung, I've noticed at the last few shows and Day on the Green, a real gasp goes through the crowd!! I love it too, one of Damien's best songs live for sure
