Thanks for the report, Roxy. Am still wishing that he'd play songs like Sorry, See You Again and Forgive, Forget. But, I'm VERY glad that he played Golden Line last night , hope that one remains on the set list! Really want to hear it on piano! How did the crowd respond to the more upbeat songs (e.g. TGTY)? Did they seem to prefer the slower ones? Lol at D putting his leg up on the piano. How random. Oh, thanks for the wardrobe report, Roxy. Can't wait to hear all D's jokes and the Irish rap as well! Ooh, I thought that might have been Houndsy who won the tickets. Lucky her! Hope everyone going tonight has a nice night! hehe...isn't the next one picking up stray Irishmen Yep, and I also forgot the chance pre- and post- show encounters with Damien. They're a very important tradition.

Oooops I forgot the wardrobe report.... loved all the report and setlist thanks Roxy!! Glad you all made it there ok in the end, wow Damien must have been running on adrenalin yesterday, what a day all right! When he tweeted from the plane that he was on his way there yesterday it reminded me of "To Get To You" - he really was chasing on those runways and highways to get to you all in Brissie Was the Irish Rap one the "Rocky Road to Dublin"? Lol I love how we end up with a name for everything, Irishrockit might have solved the mystery of Horses yesterday (she was saying it's probably "Ride On" ) but I think Horses is also going to stick now Looks like a great setlist - thank goodness GOLDEN LINE is there, I really think that's one that just can't ever be left off. Bet it sounded AWESOME on the piano!!! So great to hear there was a beautiful piano there waiting! I could probably live without I Don't Like Mondays but still I bet Damien did a great version belting it out on piano. So interesting too that Damien's finishing with Hallelujah there! I love seeing how the setlists all change around through the tours, thanks again!! That's just fantastic that Damien did a signing, everyone would have been so thrilled Sounds like Redcliffe lived up to its reputation, even Damien was tweeting after what a great show it was! Also sounds like Damien is absolutely loving playing the piano and getting so into it, really looking forward to what he'll play at our shows!! Congratulations to Houndsy Hope she and Bella have a brilliant time tonight and you all have another fantastic one tomorrow!

Fields of Athenry?! Fantastic. Damien used to play that song a lot before he went on Idol... But with the lyrics were slightly different, and sometimes he wasn't even the lead singer...

Oh wow Spud, just reading your post, it makes me wish for all the Rememebr June songs as well. Stay could be fantastic acoustic, I wonder if Damien would consider that one too? And Sorry would be fantastic with just piano or guitar - can see that one being a brilliant sing-a-long one. OMG don't start me, I'll just end up saying all of the RJ songs.

I'm so with you there, Shims. ;D Having heard Sorry acoustically and Stay being an absolute fave, I'd love it if he did them as well, or alternates with them. Wouldn't Change A Thing would be incredible live too, haven't heard that one yet either. It's all so exciting!

Haven't seen it live in person yet done acoustic but hope to as well! I hope Damien includes "Wouldn't Change A Thing" too, I heard it the first time at Lizottes and it was acoustic that night, was the best I've ever heard it - OMG, beautiful. That one is perfect for an acoustic show. *dreaming now - just had a thought! OMG imagine a Beautiful/Wouldn't Change a Thing/Beautiful arrangement in a show

OMG imagine a Beautiful/Wouldn't Change a Thing/Beautiful arrangement in a show Yeah, I really liked Sorry when I heard the acoustic version at Lizotte's. Although from memory, Damien stuffed it up and had to start it again, so it wasn't the best version. I would love to hear the acoustic version again though. We all just went crazy when we recognised the song from the video blogs and started singing along, and it was quite funny because Damien kept telling the audience that they were the first ones to hear these new songs, yet all the s up the front already knew the words. Wow Shims, I think you're really onto something with Beautiful/WCAT/Beautiful! Seriously, suggest it to Damien! ;D
