Says here that the show was in December 2009. Bugger! I just assumed it was that old CTW show. Would definitely have taped it if I knew it was a more recent show. I hope they replay it. |

Spud, the HarperCollins rep was in yesterday and came to see me especially to tell me this was on (I didn't know) and I didn't record it for the same reason as you - I thought it was the old one I already have!

You, me, Spud and probably everyone else Kath!!  I was shocked to accidentally bumped into Damien  Hubby changed channels and we were both puzzled to see Damien singing at the Basement but it was different to the "Catch the Wind" show... cause DUHHHH!  It wasn't!! |

I thought it must have been a new one when it said it was from December 09 ! I watched it It was Awesome. I dont have a recordable DVD player  I really thought someone would have recorded it Hopefully it will come on again. He played a lot of songs off Remember June  I saw a lot of the   Braf, Dawn, Shims, Morgs, Trilly & Carla... They were all bopping along to See you again Trilly looked like she was having a ball |

It's only thanks to being a part of DLO that I knew it was on, otherwise I would have been fast asleep. Like Di, I saw Dec 09 and thought it to be the R.June shows, but it seems so many of you mixed up what show it was . I checked ABC online sales and they do sell DVD's of some of the Basement shows, but couldn't find this one. So working on the assumption that the ABC own the rights to this and that D would gain no further financial benefit from it (correct me if I'm wrong as I would never pirate anything that would otherwise benefit Damien!), I asked my tech savvy nephew to record it on to a disc for me.  . But I still had to watch it just in case! I was on the edge of my seat! I couldn't beleive that I was watching him , it was almost like he was Live on mainstream TV, if you can call midnight on the ABC, mainsteam!! ;D. We all know what a star he is, but my hope is that other people watching who may have dismissed him in the past will say "You know what, this guy is actually pretty bloody good!" |

Actually yeah Deb, that never occurred to me - this show is probably the best TV exposure for RJ songs (besides TGTY and possibly FF) that Damien has ever gotten.  I hope lots of people were watching, even if a lot of us weren't. |
