08/11/10Damien is obviously in Australia since he was snapped at the ARIAs last night with his gorgeously preggers wife! ;D First show in WA on Thursday, the 11th.

Damien on twitter yesterday to Tommysa saying that he has two more trips to the USA booked --- and it is all good.---Interesting ---Would love to know more however all in good time no doubt.

Talking to him at Friend Restaurant last night, he said he will be off to Nashville again soon. Before the next Sydney show or between Sydney and christmas?? I sure hope he can keep up the pace, because he has put himself on a crippling schedule  . He arrived in Perth testerday (apparently flight delayed  ) and by the time he finished our show at 11pm, it was 2am Sydney time for him . And he just reported on Face book that he was in a big traffic jam all the way down the Freeway to get to tonight's Ravenswood show  . I hope he has some good relaxation techniques! |

Thanks Deb.  Not sure when D isn't on a crippling schedule though!  He said he works best when under pressure, and this album so far is "the best he's ever sung!"  I know one of the things he does to relax is writing. Wonder how the new novel is progressing? |

I would like to see some adverts for the upcoming shows for Feb 2011 at least in the local papers or posters in the surrounding suburbs.
I live in the Sutherland and for the previous shows at the Brass Monkey I did not see any notices of the shows at all and unless you passed by the Brass Monkey ( There was a large poster on the entrance) or you clicked on to DLO you would not be aware of the concerts.
There was a report by Debangel for the recent W Aust gigs which appears to be seems to be the same.
Once people know he is performing they will be there and they will be back there the next time as well.

You're so right Brian. Damien always seems to miss out on the associated advertising. He said he never does well in Melbourne, but unless you are "in the know" you wouldn't know he was on the same planet! Is it up to the venue, the record company or Damien's manager??? Whoever..... somebody is falling down on the job |

There was a small ad' in the Sat. TV magazine for all shows. But other than that, just posters at the venues. Maybe someone could contact managing agent and ask about advertising |
