Can anyone tell me whether Damien has somebody writing his songs for his new album or is he going to have another attempt similar to RJ. Is the new album leaning towards his own style or will it appeal more to the general Pop music culture. I don't want to be negative but he needs to appeal to a more broader audience. I hate to say it but Jes and Stan have a higher profile and more and more of my friends are beginning to say Damien who? Damien has the best voice out of any Idol winner but his marketing and branding needs a revamp. Anyway thats my humble and probably incorrect opinion. RJ did not produce one top ten single so I am hoping this new album is taking a different track. I want Damien back at Number 1.

Hi Stallinger, nice to see you again. Since Remember June was released Damien has changed Managers. He was certainly let down with promotion by the record company for Remember June which I believe it a fantastic album and deserved much more support.
Damien is currently recording in Nashville and the kind of album is being kept under wraps.
We are all anxious to know what is on it.

Braff has told you what we know at this point, so I won't repeat her, except to agree that Damien has definitely The Best voice of any Idol alum! I would also point out that Jess and Stan appeal to different demographics than D, in general, and their music has been pushed on radio by Sony, not to mention having a HUGE marketing campaign, which, as Braff also said, D kinda missed out on.  We all can't wait to find out more detail about this new album, so stay tuned!!!  and don't we ALL want D back at #1! ;D |

Stallinger, yes he has the best voice, and was the winner that shined from Idol. We all want him at No 1 ! I hope too that we do see some better marketing etc just so he gets what he deserves. Very excited about upcoming album.
