I THOUGHT it was the website photo! Was getting so confused when everyone was saying Tara took it ... I wondered how Tara's shot magically appeared on the site.

Haha, yeah, I thought the same about DC.

Nice to see a bit of pretteh and good to hear they raised lots of money.

I had such a great time that I am only just starting to recover today.

First of all I will say that I had a few tears at the beginning when they showed flood coverage (on the two very large screens on either side of the stage) with this very sad song to accompany it but after that, what a night. IT ROCKED !!!!!

I was seated in the front and the stage was so close that I could have put my feet up on it.

All the artists performed 2 songs each.

I will just give a few highlights for me.

Mark Gable from the Choirboys - "Run to Paradise" and 'Boys Will Be Boys". Got the crowd in the mood and really rocking. ;D

Dragon - "April Sun In Cuba" , ;D "Are You Old Enough" ;D

Darryl Braithwaite was fantastic. ;D He even got the audience to sing "Horses" for him and I must say we were in fine voice.

I'm not a huge fan of David Campbell but he can really belt out a song.

And of course Damien and Eric. What can I say. ;D ;D ;D It is the first time I've heard Damien really rock out "Shine Like the Sun'. I loved that there was a full band. Damien got the audience to join in on Hallejulah and received a standing ovation at the end. ;D

The show was suppose to have finished at 9:30pm but went on until more like 11:00pm. ;D It was a fantastic night which ran into the early hours of the morning for me and so I'm glad I had yesterday off.

Sorry I missed you Tara. I'm glad to hear that the night has raised so much money. ;D

Thank you Damien and Eric for taking the time to be involved in such an event.

sorry for confusion re sneaky shot, oh no it was a quick aim, then the dam flash went off so in the bag. Bella I didn;t know you were so close. wasn't it a night, Im afraid I was sing run to paradise and april sun in cuba, then put on wwl but that was a far rockier song sunday night .

had to have a little laugh there, great hearing that Dragon was there singing April Sun in Cuba - I remember Eric started playing that off the cuff at Marconi once and all the crowd started singing along but Damien standing looking puzzled then joking how he didn't know what on earth song it was and what we were all singing

Shims, whilst Dragon were performing, I could see Eric was to the side of the stage standing there with the biggest grin. ;D He looked like he was really enjoying it.
