Not sure if there's a thread on this yet, just a small mention. In the Sunday Life Magazine that comes in the Sun Herald they asked musicians what their musical 'guilty pleasures' are. This was Damien's response:
Guilty Pick: Broadway musicals "I've got a massive collection of musicals and movie soundtracks - The West Side Story and Cats and all that. I found myself acting in those shows years ago, in high school back in Ireland and then in amateur groups. I was in Oliver a few times, Oklahoma!, Carousel, Fiddler on the Roof. Every now and then, I pick one out and play it. Best of Broadway or whatever.
;D

I wonder why he would feel guilty about that? Actually, most of the other artists' guilty picks in that article didn't seem embarrassing or anything at all.

I'm surprised actually that he didn't mention the Wiggles, seeing as they're Jarvis' top pick at the moment - after daddy of course ;D

I love all of those soundtracks with West Side Story and Cats being two of my favourites. It would have been awesome to see Damien acting in all of those musicals years ago.

Damien sung a little bit of "Oh What a Beautiful Morning" from Oklahoma for fun at the Sydney concerts, think it was the 2nd night. He sung it beautifully!

That's right - he forgot most of the words didn't he? ;D I told my mum about it, she said "Oh God, I hope he doesn't do Rich Man!" Apparently Gwen Stefani's Rich Girl is a redo of a Fiddler on the Roof song. Damien singing Gwen...he can sing anything and do it well, but some things he can do without singing. Like Bohemian Rhapsody. Or anything by Bob Dylan

Or anything by Bob Dylan Lol Hyp, the original If I Were a Rich Man is a bit different to Gwen's (Check out the movie of Fiddler on the Roof, very long, I'll warn you, but a great story) I like Gwen all the same, I think she's so creative Ok, for fun I'll throw a Bob Dylan song at you which I'd love to hear Damien do - "Make You Feel My Love" I saw Luka Bloom sing this live recently and I absolutely melted into the floor. This song is up there with "Lilac Wine" for me as one of my favs I think Damien would do a beautiful version too.
