SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!OK , got that out of my system  What a great show! The band was really rocking, fantastic sound, although DH thought it was a bit bass heavy sometimes. Damien was in fantastic voice, as usual the high notes were awesome Dressed in black jeans (didn't seem to have a huge belt buckle tonight, just mid size) black shirt and tie and a lovely black jacket with satin lapels. Set list: You Got It Only the Lonely Dream Baby Love Hurts (slow and ) Working for the Man Blue Bayou with Jess Beautiful some of this sung a capella, just wonderful Goodnight In Dreams - got huge audience reaction Running Scared Mean Woman Blues with audience participation Crying Drove All Night straight into Handle With Care Encore Pretty Woman with band intros and audience singing Hallelujah - standing ovation Going Home Damien looked like he was really having a good time, with lots of jokes, dance moves and banter. There was a new drummer, Aiden, who stepped in on Wednesday, and he did really well, with some cues from Eric and Damien on the stop/start stuff. I meant to ask D what happened to Darren, but forgot. Afterwards there was a big crowd waiting, and starsis's car was in a carpark which was closing, so I went and got it out. When I got back the line was quite short, and George said it was OK for us to have photos - they weren't letting anyone else  Damien also said he was coming back in December to do a regional tour - Mt Gambier, Pt Lincoln, Pt Pirie and Renmark, so that is great (just so happens we have rellies in Pirie - might be time for a visit  ) All in all a fantastic show, and very well received. More tomorrow when teh coma has faded a bit.

Darren went home on Tuesday Kath.
Great report. A great crowd there too by the look of it. Reminds me of the Sydney gig.

Sounds like an amazing night Kath, so glad you had a terrific time and very good of you to write a report tonight  He really loves performing doesn't he, just has the best time....did the drummer cope with those hip movements hehe Just wonderful with the full band isn't it.....oooh a regional in December, did he say full band? Glad you managed some photos with D too |
