Hi everyone, I have only just surfaced! Last night was every bit as awesome as Kath said except that I couldn't see the very left of the stage or the screen from the wheelie spot on the side aisle. If only they had let me sit in the aisle next to my seat I might have made it into D's pic Still I was on the right side to see D interacting with Eric and he was facing my way a lot. Now can't wait for the road trip in November! In the mean time I can get started on a new sig!   |

That is a shame that you missed the vid but luckily you were on the best side to get the rapport between Damien and Eric. Always a good spot to be.
The concert sounds as amazing as Sydney was and like you, I am waiting excitedly for my next concert.

SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!OK , got that out of my system What a great show! The band was really rocking, fantastic sound, although DH thought it was a bit bass heavy sometimes. Damien was in fantastic voice, as usual the high notes were awesome  Afterwards there was a big crowd waiting, and starsis's car was in a carpark which was closing, so I went and got it out. When I got back the line was quite short, and George said it was OK for us to have photos - they weren't letting anyone else  Damien also said he was coming back in December to do a regional tour - Mt Gambier, Pt Lincoln, Pt Pirie and Renmark, so that is great (just so happens we have rellies in Pirie - might be time for a visit  ) So cool! Sounds brilliant! aww how gorgeous you got pics as a special treat!  and more shows...now that is great news! ..awesome to have just been to a concert and still have more to look forward to. Lucky for you Kath...the car issue...lol. Anyway...Damien remembers all...lol..especially as we had to wait...forever for him to come to Adelaide the first time... Glad you had such a great night we all knew you would..he is really Rockin it out..  |

Fantastic! So glad you had a great time, ladies (as if there was any doubt!)  Aaww, special piccies, nice one D.  I guess he might have to be a bit cautious with all the bugs going round at this time of the year...or maybe he had a redeye flight home.  LOVE LOVE LOVE D taking pics of the crowd for Twitter and FB! It seems like he's really enjoying playing to full houses! ;D Set list was the same as Enmore, I note.I guess we all expected that.  Did they use the smoke machine this time? Eric said Darren was only doing two shows in Melbourne, Kath. We didn't ask why . Sounds like Aidan is settling in quickly though, with Eric's help.  |

AWESOME night by the sounds of things Thanks so much Kath and Starsis, soo glad you had a rocking good time! LOVE the set list!! glad they have kept GOODNIGHT on the list! Aww isn't that great that George let you have a few photos, very special indeed. and great hearing that the queues are long, does that mean they are selling squillions of CD's? Were there Teatowels? I soo want one of those! ;D Love the uploaded photo of the theatre too, so cool that D is doing that and posting it on FB etc. ;D |

I thought Damien last night had the most fun I have ever seen him have. He was laughing and smiling a lot and just seemed very relaxed. There wasn't a smoke machine (thank goodness) Some more tidbits: Jess Chalker sang well, but she seemed very nervous and spoke a bit quickly to catch a lot of it. Eric made a mistake and had to dance - and after putting aside his guitar and warming up with a few lunges, he went down on his back like a B Boy and spun around  Damien was left standing with his mouth open in surprise  Damien mentioned the superman undies that Cesar wore He also mentioned shaving his chest for DWTS, and how it exposed muscles he didn't know he had He mentioned the abs and buns of steel, of course, and did lots of dance moves while the drummer gave him a crescendo with a big finish. I think the ban on photos was to clear the crowd quickly, and also as D had an early flight home to get to St Mary's. They had set up a table at a point that everyone coming from upstairs had to file past, so it was very crowded. I ducked under the rope to have my photo but forgot a kiss as we had already been talking for a bit by then. You'll see (and I said as much to Damien) that I went for the Krissy grip ;D. Starsis at the end of the concert went up to one of the clear up blokes and asked for one of the copies of the set list and asked Damien to sign it. He said 'you stole a setlist? Scandalous!!' |

Thanks for your report Kath. ;D State the obvious, but sounds like you had one hellva' night! LOL at Eric busting a B Boy move, ha! Would of loved to have seen that. Glad you got to go under the rope and have a bit of a talk, and a photo! ( sneaky, sneaky! ) What another amazing night for Damien! I think he's getting a real buzz playing to full houses, like some of you have said. It must give him that extra boost and confidence, I mean look at him! He is absolutely beaming and SMASHING every concert.  So proud of him. Kinda makes me teary! Awww!   |

Fantastic reading all the great stories today, thanks so much kath and starsis! It really sounds like another top night and great concert! I loved the pic Damien posted last night of the audience, great looking reactions and definitely seemed like the theatre was rockin  I'm wondering now if the Sydney girls can remind me - did we have the video at Enmore? Or was I so in pre-coma that I didn't register seeing it! Can't wait to see the photos, I'll have to go for now but will come back and have a good look later. Lol at Eric spinning on the floor would like to have seen that! What's in the water in Adelaide lol |
