I also think D and Mel had the hardest music to dance to tonight - Acker Dacker for a tango?? Puhlease!  and whoever dressed D tonight did him a disservice. He looked a bit Adam Antish (eh Roxles?)  or even Princeish, not ACDC!! Where were the braces..or even a flannie!!?  I also felt as though Todd wanted to give Melanie a hard time because he'd been so complementary to her in previous weeks. Who cares if her routine wasn't a strict Argie tango?? it was incredibly entertaining!! This show sux it's so transparent  .. but D and Mel's attitude really is so admirable. They take crit so calmly, no whinging, excuses or boo-hooing. Love them even MORE for that!  |

So Manewwwwww won the dance off, are we really surprised, of course its rigged The whole show is rigged, Damien and Mel were no way near as bad as the judges made out, Todd is just a big poo poo head I couldn't post before, my lappy died so I had to wait for the show to finish, I'm glad Brynne has finally gone, she maybe a nice girl but she definitely can not dance and sorry but her voice just annoys the crap out of me. Lots of votes going in for Damien and Mel this week again |

Well, I really didn't like tonight's show much.
Don't like eyeliner on men, thought both Damien and Arsen had terrible hair, agree with Trilly that Damien's coat looked like Adam Ant (NOT rock!).
I also thought that rock music for ballroom was quite silly, and made it hard for more of the couples than just Damien and Mel.
Glad to see Brynne has finally gone, and I really don't like Hayley much, although she can dance.
Finally, I didn't think Damien and Mel really hit it tonight either, although how Todd could give Bracks a higher score is beyond me!
*sigh*

Mel has knocked it out of the park each week with awesome choreography..(this week included) I believe this week it was scripted to bring D down a peg. Same it was decreed that Manu was to star this week..but he stuffed his Cha Cha but thankfully they could rig the group dance and have Manu win. They didn't even have Damien & Mel on the screen for most of it. My hubby was about to wrestle me to the ground I was screaming at the TV so much!! |

And just found out that the computer didn't record, so I can't upload to Youtube. Has anyone else recorded it?

It's called bias, Kath..and there was a fair bit of that happening tonight! Nick has improved.. but from a statue to a slightly more animated statue, IMO ..with good pects! |

I thought Damien & Mel did a fabulous job, and unlike you Kath, I really did like his hair!! However, having just watching Nic, I can't believe he got a 7 from Todd, he's so stiff and not doing too much dancing! Something that the female professional dancers do with Nic & Manu is dance twice as hard as their partners to cover their faults..... Mel on the other hand, doesn't do this, her and Damien are much more of an equal partnership... perhaps this doesn't go in Damien's favour when it comes to score? Not sure, just thought it was unfair tonight! |

Trilly, I have no idea on how to change the aspect ratio, sorry! My technical capabilities are strictly limited. Might be able to find out from the men in the house, but none is available at the moment. I'll let you know. Just had a thought - I will download the megaupload and see what that looks like |

 WOW!!    GUYLINER BED-HAIR SATIN COAT-VEST GLAM ROCK CIRCUS HAWTNESS!!!!!!!! Can you tell I LOVE THE LOOK??!!!!!!!!   Wow I was jumping with glee when I saw Damien tweeting their look for tonight, adoring him in guyliner, it looks AMAZING on him!!   I love the freedom this sort of show brings to just go for it with costume etc! Last year for the AC/DC song they had Rob in grey shorts and a school shirt and I'm so glad they didn't go that way for Damien - though yes it wasn't a pure AC/DC look, it was a sort of Circus Lord of Rock thing going on so I went with it, and I'm also really coveting that long satin vest now..... *wants one!* Thought the dance was fabulous and LOVED Mel's choreography, I think she did the totally appropriate thing when presented with this challenge of ROCK TANGO to AC/DC to add those new vogue elements to make it a presentation that worked with the music. She did a beautiful job and I thought Todd's scoring this week was harsh in comparison to the marks for others. Loved that Mel zoned straight in to Damien bringing out aggression in the tango, that helps bring out the fire in it and thought his expressions and character were spot on the whole dance. Though maybe on paper it could be an odd sort of thought at first to have AC/DC with tango I think the way they did it the song worked with it as they went for that aggressive dynamite explosion TNT sort of concept. Was very disappointed we didn't see more of Damien and Mel in the group dance marathon, when we did see them they were MAGIC and throwing the energy in, even saw the head flick from the other week again lol, loved it. Really thought they should have been top 2 in that with Hayley. Just have to finish by saying again how much I loved seeing him in guyliner! Loved Dan and the other guys in thers and black nailpolish too, makes a great little suprise change and Damien, just let me know if you ever want to borrow my black eyeliner with DIAMOND SPARKLES through it, it's yours! ;D  - wooooooooooo So happy they're SAFE for another week and cannot wait til next time! |

Nick certainly is very stiff when he dances! and I've noticed too that when the judges comment on their facial expressions, asking them to show the emotion for the dance...all they do is keep the same look throughtout the whole dance! very off putting. The show is very much rigged and that is as plain as daylight! What was the joke? or thing that Damien mentions about shutting the front door?? I've seen heaps of tweets about it but have no idea when he said it? anyone know? I liked Damien's makeup and costume tonight too Tina, and as I said earlier tonight my first thoughts were of Adam Ant!! it really threw me when I heard ACDC come on! he would of been much better suited to wearing a flanney and black singlet for that dance. But I don't mind, he certainly looked good!  I like that Damien and Mel can come out and give it their all every week no matter what is asked of them!! the two of them are just brilliant together and Damien was damn lucky to get partnered with Mel. ;D I also believe that Hayley is the dark horse in the comp and will be the one that may just trump Maneeeew even.  |
