Trills did mention about my 'eyebrow moment' but not my 'piece de resistance' and I am more than happy to share.
We were in second row, the seating there is very elevated so you can see over the head of the person in front. I was sitting directly in front of Damien
so had a great view of him.
After he had come out and finished his first little bracket of songs, he stopped for his customary banter - looked straight
at ME, and said, "Thank you for the lovely biscuits Gloria" and gave me a huge smile. God, I just melted and blew him a double kiss back ...I'm actually amazed at myself for being able to do that spontaneously as I'm usually so in awe of his prescence I just stop functioning
- not this time though. (see, told you I got great mileage out of the Melting Moments!!!)
Then later, he sang G L O R I A and I'm as happy as a pig in sh*t!!
At Wangaratta I also gave him a teddy bear which I had made for Kikki... I asked George to pass it on to him as I didn't think it appropriate to put it on the stage. I hope he liked it, actually I hope he got it
This whole tour has been a fantastic experience. Not only did I get to four Damien Leith shows
but had the pleasure of the company of my fellow Damienites (geez it sounds good to say that). Also let my hair down a bit and got completely out of my normal routine (not used to having alcohol at 1am, haha)
Thank you ladies for a wonderful 4 1/2 days, for your wonderful company, and all the laughs.
