Just to let you know, I have spent some time updating and expanding Damien's Wikipedia entry. Any further suggestions? It would be good to be able to upload a copy of the single cover and the photos of his winning, methinks, but I haven't been able to quite get that right *coughNeski?* See en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Damien_Leith |

Really? There has always been a link to this forum on D's wikipedia page...at least there has been for me!  Its weird, sometimes editing shows up for me and sometimes it doesnt...it may be a cookies thing for me  |

Actually, this quote is what got me editing, becuase it was posted originally by someone else saying simply "Despite comments from judges on Leith's unconventional appearance," so I deleted "unconventional' and added Irish origin [cos both were unfair comments that he overcame gracefully] Done lots of other adds, eg adding his BSc (Hons) details, Eileen's full name, the info about his residency/citizenship and the other idols, the unpublished novel and plays etc. |

You were the one that took out unconventional and added Irish origins? You did it as I was writing my post. It was funny, I went back to have a look to double check that I was quoting right and had to revise my post. I thought that I was cracking up. That's a relief.  |

For the first time, Australian Idol 2006 permitted contestants to play instruments whilst performing, and Leith accompanied himself on guitar for his renditions of Chris Isaak's "Wicked Game", Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah, Alex Lloyd's "Never Meant to Fail" and Ben Harper's "Waiting on an Angel", and on piano for his rendition of Split Enz's "Message to my Girl".

I went into the Single Album box details and added "GOLD" after Aria accreditation. Also added in about the Dec 6 release of the DVD/CD pack. |

I'll try that... I used a screenshot which according to the copyright tags is ok, it just wont show when I preview the edit.... will try now with the plaque pic, and check out what copyright tag Jess has used |
