Looks like was a great show, thanks for putting the setlist too! Haven't heard Damien do I'll be Your Baby Tonight before, it sounds great from your description! Amazing that the crowd clustered up the back and you had your own special "island" area, added bonus.

I just loved Tina's report, it made me feel like I was there She has managed to cover just about everything but I will add in some bits.

I was told that the doors would be open at 4pm, so I was there at 3.50pm. Bit embarrassing, it was just me, the security guards and the sound guys. But I went and marked out my plot anyway. Damien and band arrived at about 4.45 and there was still only a few people around and the first thing D said when he saw me was "wow, you're here early". I sat and enjoyed the sound check for a while, amongst other things he sang BEAUTIFUL and EASY...like a Sunday morning. That sounded really nice and I was fishing for new album clues. After the s/check I went over for a chat and I asked him if EASY might be a track from the album and he no, but he was sworn to secrecy. Then I told him that I'd had a dream that BEAUTIFUL was on the album, but he wasn't going to tell. He did say he would try and come online this week and give US some more details. So that is something to look forward to ;D Then I asked if he would have time to see us after the show and he said no, he was on the red eye flight back to Sydney. I commented that Tina would be so disappointed to have missed seeing him and I was very grateful that I had the chance to talk with him.

Just a few points that I think Tina didn't mention, when you are in the moment it can be hard to remember everything.

:)The next tour will be announced in about 5 wks.
:)Perth show will be in Sept at the Astor Theatre (this is a beautiful old movie theatre recently refurbished to be used for live shows. It holds about 1000 people, similar to the Regal Theatre where he was last July.
The Estee Lauder ad campaign will run again for Mothers day!
Kikki's party will be held in a park this weekend, and whilst he was telling the band that they were welcome to come, he "invited" Tina & I as well. You know me, I might just jump on a plane!

Ok, I think there's more, just let me take a breath!

Nice bit of news about the Estee Lauder 'Beautiful' commercial. That has generated so much interest worldwide. In fact, I now have 2 bottles of it ;D

Can't wait to see where and when Damien will be touring near me.

Ok..... where was I, excuse me if I repeat myself on anything, as I am still feeling .

:)Damien will try to come on DLO this week to tell us more about the album ( did I already say that?)

:)He is recording the final track for the album today

:)He commented on what a big mistake it had been by Sony, not to have ever released BEAUTIFUL as a single!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:)His exact words were "There is one track in the album that has been reworked"
I think Tina said "Is it a cover?" (either she was thinking or said LEAH?, not sure)
Damien replied " it's not a cover"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Phew, is that enough little bits to get you excited???
