09/02/12 It's fabulous to hear that Damien is currently recording again with his mate Stuart Crichton! Can't wait to hear the results of both his writing and the recording sessions. ;D

They are indeed, Nicki. ;D "Remember June" is still my favourite album musically to date, and it was a result of their wonderful collaboration. It's exciting to anticipate what delights they have in store for us this time around!

Agree with you Nicki. they are a fantastic twosome. I think we're all pretty excited at the prospect of another collaboration between Damien and Stuart I'm sure the actual album will be a knockout, but hopefully this time it'll get some decent backing and promotion from Sony.

It would appear from Twitter that Damien has been joined in the studio for a "cameo appearance" by 20 year old Sinead Burgess, a singer with pop/rock, acoustic and country cred, who was discovered via The Road To Tamworth when she was 16. She's due to release her debut album this year, and it seems she's been working with Stu Crichton as well. Hmm, the photo shoot pic on FB showed D seated with his guitar, looking very casual in a check shirt, white t and grey/brown jeans. Some people thought it had a "country vibe". Of course, this is just pure speculation at this point since we have nothing confirmed. The album could be anything. Hoping for folky acousticky/ adult contemporary, myself.

Have been hoping for some hints and must confess that the check shirt worried me as I like Country as much as I like Polkas

I thought the same thing when I saw the pic with the check shirt and the country background I'm not a huge country fan either, but my DH will probably love it ;D I'm actually used to listening to country, I will probably love it... and at least I will be able to play it in the car ;D
