Haha, loved all the speculation about the vid! Yep, the  s could give the pros a tip or two about how to film it!   Looking at this track list again, I'm seeing a progression in the song titles. D said there's a concept to the album, and i'm thinking it's the story of a romance, definitely, but not just Beautiful, the entire episode, from the POV of the guy reminiscing. Look at how they are organized: The romance is over - "End Of The Line" Remembering what she meant to him - "Beautiful" Then, "Got My Mind Set On You" and "Maybe Someday" - he's persuing, courting her.  Then -"Here Comes The Sun" - they get together, life is good.  Something goes awry, someone has trouble - "Let Me Be Your Rescue" Love and passion -"I'll Be Your Baby Tonight"  Then, arguments - "I Won't Back Down"  Then, "500 Reasons" why they should stay together, why he loves her.  "Leah" is a guy dreaming of lost love. She's leaving.  Then, he's telling her if she must go, she better "Run". He's angry!  He then "Can't Get (their love story) It Out Of (his) My Head"  And lastly, "If (she) You Say(s) So" they will start again, have another try at being together, ending on a hope of reconciliation.  Waddya reckon, dya think I'm onto something here?  ?  |

Nice Trilly! I wonder is the clip a clip for the album or for a single? A few people have speculated that Beautiful will be the first single. (I wonder if there is going to be a single?) Now I think of it, doesn't that come out BEFORE the Album usually? Totally confused. I wonder if it (a single) will be released to radio?

Yes or is there going to be any radio play at all? "Roy" had none, but still did brilliantly, thankfully, because of Damien's rep as an incredible singer of Orbison's material and decent promo, for once! Personally, if this is not destined for radio, I don't really care, as long as it's promoted properly! Damien deserves that much from Sony after making them a few bucks last year, when very few other acts sold as well as he did. T'would be awesome if " Beautiful" was a single though. They may decide to release it after giving the entire album a run first? PS. Even if the track list we have is in a different order, the romance story still works and is a very clever way to combine covers and originals. ;D |

Good one Trills! very well thought out, I like it Maybe the video is just to be put on youtube and possibly for tv on the music channels? If a single was in the pipeline you'd think it would be out by now!!  haha Kath, that was my first thought too!!  walking, walking walking!! I really hope not, but will have to wait and see! |

Yes, the "walking concept" is just a tad unimaginative and overdone, ain't it? Pleeease let it not be IT!  Must say, the title of this album, though simple, says so much. The music is now and then, the romance concept is now and then and this is Damien now and then (the Orbison connection.) ;D And so are we!! |

Love all your ideas, but.... anyone else concerned that Damien appears to be walking again??  I'm concerned.... that he's walking ALONE at NIGHT in HYDE PARK!!  Perhaps it's the video for a bonus track - "I Will Survive"  Romantic strolling ignoring all dangers - it's a good metaphor for love  can be beautiful and atmospheric, or more like walking the gauntlet - if you make it out alive through the feral rats, cats, possums, bats, drunks, druggies, muggers and worse hiding behind every tree the illusion of it all still looks  |
