Seeing as Damien Leith's The Winner's Journey album did so well, was there demand from fans for yours too?
We weren't going to put the "Jessica's Journey" album out but then we thought, "Maybe this does close the door on Idol." And, having a lot of fans out there, they might want to have their last taste of the Idol experience and the joy that I bring to the show.
Are you still in touch with any of the contestants on the show?
Yeah, definitely. Especially with Damo [Damien Leith] — when we can, because he's quite busy at the moment, or just chilling out with his family. I still keep in touch with Lavina [Williams] and Lisa [Mitchell] and Reigan [Derry] — all of them, actually. Just to see what's up and all the goss.
