Benalla's Damien Leith fans will be excited about his upcoming concert at Wangaratta. He is a multi-platinum singer songwriter with an Irish accent who captivates his audience, and Damien Leith last week said he wouldn’t rule out performing in Benalla in the future. Damien, who will launch a national tour next month and will perform for the third time at Wangaratta, said it was the audiences that kept him coming back. ‘‘I will have a talk to the agent about coming to Benalla,’’ Damien said with a laugh. He said he remembered a story about a Benalla resident he met at his last Wangaratta concert. ‘‘I remember meeting this fan from Benalla, and I kept trying to say it and putting an ‘r’ in it,’’ Damien said. Jokes aside, Damien will be in Wangaratta on September 20 where he will perform songs from his new album Now and Then which is a continuation of his Tribute to Roy album released last year as well some of his classic hits. The concert, with a full band, will be held at Wangaratta Performing Arts Centre; tickets and details can be obtained by phoning the centre on 57228105 or visiting its website at www.wangarattapac.com.au1253257.jpg  Singer song writer Damien Leith will tour north east next month. |

OH NO.......OH NO......OH NO.................! Why are these concerts and others being cancelled? Oh its a bummer alright! Big time bummer! But you know if it is about local support, we did have a great review in local paper border mail this week on the album, but, but........it was released around Mothers Day! I collected some posters from the great Staff at Sanity up here, no air play here though. If it is for own personal reasons though completely understand "D". Just disappointed like others are too at moment!

Bummer.  Wang was so much fun last time. Great venue and a fun crowd, especially our own Plugz. I hope that some of the folk who were planning on attending this gig can make The Palms instead.  Not the same as a local gig though.
