Look, it may not be very exciting, but just saw a promo on A Current Affair, about a segment for tomorrow night's show (Tuesday) It's about how different Aust. Idol people have fared since appearing on the show - Damien appears in the promo so it would seem that he may feature in some small way!!!

Thank you for the alert Apparently it is on all talent shows so I can gather and it deals with. The Success stories and The ones who have lost everything

Damien and to a lesser degree Anthony were the prominent stories on the show last night.
Damien spoke about the positives of having reality shows to showcase artist and then more or less the hard work starts but they a foot in the door--That's how it went I think from memory.
Beautiful was playing with Damien at the piano during the segment.
The main focus appeared to be as to how hard it is to last and to how the public attention year in year out.
The also talked about his success with "ROY" and that was continuing with his new album.----They did not mention N & T but that's what they were referring to.

Thanks for the recap, Brian, I missed the segment. Was hoping someone would post about it. I'm so pleased that D is being recognized as one of the most successful talent show alumni. Six years is a long time in a precarious business. Talent takes you only so far, hard work takes you the rest of the way, as he constantly demonstrates. Obviously this was a prerecorded interview, by the sounds of things. Great exposure again for him!

Interesting that Anthony Callea is now recording on his own record label! I wonder how many winners are still with their winning record label? Guy & Damien??

I was thinking, maybe Damien could leave Sony and join Anthony's record label

Thanks for that Tara, I missed the show when it was on, it must be so hard for some, they do have to put in the hard work to get anywhere, the music industry is such a fickle one. It's great that Damien and others are still around doing what they love.
