In the same paper in the entertainment centre of upcoming concerts, music, threatre that they had under Music I think. Carrie Derwood at the Opera House with special guess performer Damien Leith.Pretty disappointing result if you happened to be a supporter and purchased tickets  How could they make mistakes like that  |

The person checking this should have been shot. Derwood? guess? (or was that just a typo from you?)
Also, Damien isn't performing at the Opera House, it is just Carrie, unless they have changed it.

Damien definately won't be at the Opera House, there is no support act for those shows.
That's certainly in poor form to let that go to press like that! I hope someone got their knuckles wrapped for it!!! obviously they typed it like that and didn't edit it before release!

It is a nice photo, Dawn. Thanks. Wonder who was babysitting Kiki? As for the copy blunder Brian, with all the slashing and burning of staff that's happening with print newspapers at the moment, I'm not surprised the subbies are not checking copy properly. It's not a good look though, smacks of lack of professionalism. Then again, we are talking about The Tele. If I had bought tickets to Carrie's OH show hoping to see D as her support after this stuff-up I 'd be mightily peed off too Roxles.  |
