Champion volunteers needed to support life saving c ause

The Prince of Wales Hospital Foundation is looking for volunteers to assist at this year’s Racing Night of Champions Awards Night on Thursday , August 16 at Rosehill Racecourse Grand Pavilion. This prestigious event recognises the achievements of the NSW racing industry whilst also providing much needed lifesaving support for the Prince of Wales Hospital Foundation. Twenty volunteers in total are needed to:  Work at the registration desk to assist with guest lists, seating chart, barrel for lucky door prize  Work in the silent auction area  Assist with the cloakroom  Help guests to find their seats  Sell raffle tickets  Assist winners to and from the stage (model hostesses)  Manage monster auction prizes and gifts Singer/songwriter, Damien Leith, is donating his own signed guitar to help raise funds for the lifesaving cause. The Prince of Wales Hospital Foundation is now is encouraging others to donate their time. The Australian Idol winner and Dancing with the Stars finalist, Damien Leith, will also perform on the night. "This is a fantastic event for the Prince of Wales Hospital Foundation. Our volunteers are what truly make this night possible so all help is very much encouraged and appreciated," says Leanne Zalapa, CEO of the Prince of Wales Hospital Foundation.
