So pleased to hear that D is currently "writing up a storm"  in Nashville and will be off to LA very shortly. Hope the trip continues to be productive, Damien and we'll  be looking forward to seeing you play live soon! Maybe we'll get to hear one or two of the newbies??   |

I think it will be a while before any of this music is performed or recorded, and he may well be writing for others.

Geez, ladies, keep the faith!  D has often performed new material at his gigs, so who knows, he may decide to surprise us.  I'm just happy he's writing because that's who he is, whether it's for himself or others. |

I think Keeping the Faith is spot on!!! Damien sometimes likes to showcase a few new tunes at shows, or at least "hint" at what he has been up to!! so fingers x!!! is all I was trying to say!  |

Damien arrived back on the 12th August but it was good to hear that he has written 8 songs with Joe Melson who co wrote Crying, Only the Lonely and many others with Roy Orbison. Joe heard Damien's ROY album a little while ago and was very impressed so it set in motion the plans for them to work together. What a great pairing. |

Damien has also been writing with Alex Dezen from The Damnwells (awesome band name!)  on this trip, in LA I think. Would love to hear what they've come up with too. Alex tweeted about how great the songs sounded. ;D PS. Oow, just found a link on The Damnwells website to a free song. www.thedamnwells.com/It's called She Goes Around and I really like it! Very poppy! ;D Want to hear what D wrote with Alex even more now! |
