I am here in Tamworth and fortunately my friend and I saw a message from Damien on Facebook that he was going to be interviewed on Festival FM radio at 3.30 We were already going to a show that was finishing just before then so we managed to make it to the interview and afterwards had a very brief chat because Damien was required elsewhere and a lot of people were 'wanting his flesh'. He is doing another interview tomorrow in the same area so we might be able to make that too. The show tomorrow night is a ROY show, so there won't be any new originals but I did request Leah and Running Scared. Damien still has teh curls |

Well my friend and I have been having a Damien treat Today, we were at the markets and we knew that Damien would be 'interviewed' at 11.30 but I didn't want to push it with my friend, so there were no definite plans that we would be there when the interview was happening. As it turned out, we were finished at the time Damien was on so I mentioned the time to her and we headed to the area. As we approached we could hear singing and my ears pricked up. Damien was doing a mini concert. He sang 2 songs - You Got It and Beautiful. They both sounded really good and there was quite a lot of people there listening. They have various artists at this spot throughout the day. Sanity have a stall set up at the area and they had Remember June for sale  along with Where We Land, ROY and Now & Then. Quite a few people lined up to buy the CD's (mainly ROY). I quietly commented to a couple of people that Remember June was the bet album and all originals, but the ROY album is great as well. Anyhow, it must have worked because 2 of them were sold with ROY. I have passed on the 'Hi's' on behalf of you and I said I still have to do the hugs but would attend to that tonight. See, I am looking after you all  ;D |
