Sounds like a wonderful night, Glawz (as of course we knew it would be.)  What a great set list. "To Make You Feel My Love" is an incredibly romantic song, I can just imagine D singing it. How appropriate for couples celebrating anniversaries.  So nice of Mr G (such a gentleman) to let Princey sit up front.  Was "Rose" -THE Rose? The theme song from Bette Midler's movie? If so, that is the song my DH sings to me when he's feeling especially loving. Siiigh.  I would have adored it if Damien sang it! It seems you ladies had a very memorable weekend in The Blue Mountains. I'm so happy for you both. ;D Glad D received his special gift for his mother too, Princey, you clever thing.  |

Trilly I don't think anyone sang The Rose. It looks like the word Rose should be attached to the line above ie Chris Rose. It has decided it wanted a line all on it's own.

Well all i can say is amazing. Chris Rose is fantastic i really enjoyed his songs. Although when he said he was going to sing Creep Glawzy and i went no he can't sing that and we had a giggle with him about it.I saw him outside after and said we wern't really picking on him for singing it and i must say he did a fantastic job,he told me he had cleared it with Damien As for our man he had the audience at hello,seriously he is just the best all round guy in the world. Some of us down the front may have got a we bit naughty at times I was in trouble and he called for security  Through the week i had asked him to sing Make you Feel My Love for my DH and i and also suggested a backup song instead of Danny Boy. Well when it got to Danny Boy Glawz and i may have protested and he had warned the audience that a couple of us had said we didn't want him to sing it,well when he started to sing someone else in the audience let out a groan and he stopped and said was that a good or a bad groan,of course i said see told you so. When he said he was going to sing a special request for Kazza he tried telling the audience that i said him singing this request was a trade off for singing Danny Boy the cheeky bugger. I think the audience really enjoyed his mucking around and interaction.He was on fire. Only a handful stayed back after the show but they were in love with him. I didn't take too many photos as when its in such an intimate setting i don't want to upset people.I have put 2 up in the members sectionthat are just for us DLO members so please don't post them elsewhere. Sorry i have rambled on I loved meeting Glawz and Mr G and catching up with Sue again and meeting her DH.It was a great night. At the lead in to If Tomorrow Never Comes he explained how he told people he wrote it so of couse we knew what it was,when he started playing I started singing  whoops to early he says you don't even know what it is yet and i said oh yes i do to which he replied well you are here for a special occasion so you're allowed to sing lol.. |

Ah, great request Kazza. So pleased he sang it for you. ;D Baha, poor D. He cops flack from a few of us over DB.  Can't imagine you being cheeky though, Kazza! What a surprise!   Thanks for the vid. Will watch it in a sec. Everyone seems to have enjoyed Chris's performance. That's excellent. |

Chris sang Creep both times I saw him too and I was like . He sings it differently to Damien though. The same with Jess Chalker singing Vincent. It seems strange hearing other people sing the same songs that I am used to hearing Damien singing. |

We had a great night at The Clarendon last night, Damien sang quite a few new songs, Glawz has the set lust, I started one but half way through the show was lucky enough to be shifted up the front (thanks MrG) I really enjoyed listening to Chris Rose, he has a great voice and I liked his style, he and Damien even did a song they wrote together. Damien did a couple of special requests for 2  who were celebrating special occasions, it was lovely. We got to have a quick chat after the show, I gave Damien the picture I made for his mam, he was thrilled by it and kept asking how do you do it? He even held it up for everyone who was around to see  another great show  "the set lust"!!!!! Good one Princey . Interesting name for a group of songs sung by Damien Leith ;D thanks for all your reports ladies, whoopee, now it's my turn . Four sleeps to go... |

Wow!! that's quite a list and Damien singing with a head cold too, makes it tough for him, but he copes and I don't know how just amazing. hmmmm there seem to be a few of us who are over DB How lovely of Mr G to give his seat to Princey   Heavens Kazza hard to believe anyone was a bit naughty  Reckon you were just having such a lovely time Thanks for the reports Princey, Glawz and Kazza, much appreciated  and great to see Damien delivering some new music

Thank you Glawzy, Princey and Kazza for the great reports! Glad you had a special weekend for your anniversaries too! Oh Glawz your Mr Glawz is a pretty special fella too, what a lovely thing to do to offer up his seat. Oh Sue, you are so clever what a wonderful gift, I am sure it will be treasured too. Kazza I just loved your pic on FB, just gorgeous and you looked lovely in red too. Glawz and Mr Glawz enjoy your travels and take care.
