Here I am Di and I, home from night one  Let me say that the full house , only 120 or so, loved every minute of the show and of course we did too, but being spoilt by so many shows, I would have to say this was not my favourite of set lists  It went something like this: Night of my Life Only the Lonely All I want is you Tomorrow never comes Sky/ Easy (Lionel Ritchie) Here comes the Sun Rocky Road/ Diddly I song Danny Boy Creep Tenterfield Saddler I'll be your baby tonight Beautiful Everybody's talking You got it 7 drunken nights or par thereof Crazy Love (Van Morrison) Leah Crying Stronger than Superman Pretty Woman Hallelujah Request from the crowd were for silly Irish songs and covers of songs that Damien doesn't sing! No Remember June  . Just felt a bit like most of them were my least favourite in each group of songs, but don't get me wrong, still gorgeous, still delightful (Di is falling asleep on the chair beside me  I told her she should go to bed  (This is Di dragging herself to bed as she has only slept 2 out of 24 hrs, COZ SHE LOVES DAMIEN   Last minute change was that Eric wasn't there! He suddenly had to go to Greece with Diana to perform?? don't know what that's all about. So, the talented Caeser filled in, but he is no where near as fun as Eric! I don't think he said a word through the whole show, so Damien did a lot of talking. But above all else he is oh so lovely ;D Looking rather on the slim side I thought. I think he is trying to keep up with Eileen in the fitness stakes and said he is thinking of running a 12 km charity run in Perth on Sunday morning  White shirt, waistcoat and spray on jeans. As we had hoped we got plenty of talk time> On that I will keep you hanging.... I am going to put Di to bed, see you in the morning  |

Fantastic report Deb. I'm glad you and Di enjoyed the show and each others' company. The setlist seems ok but I'm with you, there are songs on Remember June that NEED to be sung. I suppose the upside is that he sang 4 originals.   Thanks again Deb and I hope Di managed to get some sleep. The 2 hour time difference wouldn't have helped her either. |

Aww Deb, thank you for the report. I am glad you and Di had a good time. She is just gorgeous Di. She must have been tired. Probably the build up and excitement too, as I know how much she was looking forward to going over there. As long as you both had a great time. How couldn't you. Hope you are travelling ok Deb. Thanks for the terrific report Deb  and always great to hear the originals, but yup.....it is always sad to not have songs from RJ...guess D's targetting a certain crowd....Glad that you and Di had such a great time and catch....poor Di must have been exhausted  Glad that D was looking spiffy  with the waistcoat.....love a man in a waistcoat |

Oh dear thought I had lots more to tell but three days later, I just can't think and as for Di here beside me , well she is in a massive coma/jetlagged state and cannot even think straight. We had lovely hugs and chats and he is so...... siggghhhh, what can I say, you know what I'm feeling. Will write again if I think of anything. |
