Hey Guys,

As some of you may have seen on Damien's Facebook page we'd love to get some feedback on what you guys would like in terms of merchandise for our pre order packs!

If theres anything in particular you'd love post it here!
We're up for any ideas

ipad cover,
stubbie holders,
soft sunglasses case,
tshirts,
bonus CD of D and band jamming a few songs,
notepad with D's pic on pages,
pen,
tickets to BBQ with D (I'll keep trying! ), <<I'll bring the sausages!
songbook (lyrics with pics),
bumper stickers,
mousepad,
water flask,
photo placemats/coasters,
tote bag,
travel mug,
wine charms,
key rack,
scented candles..

will try to think of some more......

Here's some more ideas to add to the list I'd love to see ones based around music and experiences


* limited edition CD with bonus tracks/exclusive tracks

* video (behind the scenes/ singles)

* beautifully presented larger format illustrated song/lyric booklets

* commentary booklet by Damien about his thoughts on the songs

* lucky tickets /special bonus prize inside some packs for soundcheck parties or VIP concert experiences

* bookmarks (perfect to go with the books!)

* CD Carriers

* beautiful folio to keep all the keepsake concert programmes/flyers etc

Great ideas, Smiles! Wow, what a fertile mind you have!

The only one I'd question is mousepad. Don't know if anyone uses them anymore.
Can't think of anything else off the top of my head. Will cogitate too. Baha, still hoping re the BBQ , I see.

;D Ha I know, Trilly! I did deliberate about the mousepad.

Another thought is scarves, either heavier ones for winter or light ones for summer.
Retractable earphones (space for trademark or image)
Little rock n roll bear/mouse/rat dressed like Damo!


Now thinking if you are after a more collectable type thing you could have handpainted tiles, canvas, flashdrives (with some songs on them), tshirts or any other item that could serve the purpose (even guitar pick).

Obviously a lot of work but here's what I'm thinking. Come up with a logo/trademark/image - a simple drawing(s) that can be quickly reproduced by hand but is by virtue of being hand done a little different each time. Sign them (or initial) and number them. These could be included in limited prize packs and also offered for sale on the website.

Another thing I have heard of but have no idea how or the expense but small vinyl records as keepsakes..not sure if they have to be playable but have the artwork in the centre and people could just buy them to hang on the wall.

HI Jen and welcome, so happy to have you on the forum.

In regards to the PRE-Pack? is that a little something as a incentive to pre order the album?

If so, then it could be a usb stick, with D's signature on it, and an (unheard) orginal song, or a video....I really liked the one D had on his (sony) site once, where he sang Lilac Wine at his own piano! god that was Good, and have always wished he'd kept that recording somewhere! but something like that would be cheap enough and a good incentive as well, having the mp3 version of the song and the video would be a bonus!

I like the idea of T-shirts etc and all the ideas are really good so far.

Don't fret, Deb, if you use one, that's great. ;D Just most people I know don't need one anymore because "mice" (mouses? meece?) are so much better these days pads aren't needed.

Bugger! The only idea in my little head was tshirts, and I see you've got they covered too Smiles. LOVE LOVE LOVE the logo idea and using handwritten lyrics. (Might help D remember them too if we're all wearing them!)

Wristbands and keychains are cool ideas. I personally am not to keen on t-shirts, they never seem to last very long for me! (might be the wearer though ) Extra songs are always awesome too!
My suggestion is tea towels, like the c/drying one for the Roy Orbison. It's a bit different, and looks cool hanging on my wall

That's my 2 cents anyway. I'm sure I'll love whatever it turns out to be.

Being part of the pre order pack it needs to be small to go with the CD.

I like the idea of the tote bag with the picture of the album cover on the side,
a usb stick with some special songs,
a code to get some unreleased songs ( effectively, adding say 3 tracks to the album),
tickets to BBQ (heck, I'm not missing out on this one )
Mouse pad with the photo from the new album - I still use one
Love the idea of a songbook with the story behind each song
Deb Angels suggestion of an update from Idol to now.

I'm really enjoying you coming in here and posting all this positive news Jen.

I just want a DVD to go with the album

Lyrics would be great included with CD too.

I am too large for any T shirt but there are others who would love them.

Mousepads, cups,keyrings can always be done at the photo places using our own shots ,although for those that aren't as crazy as us they sound great.

Maybe instead of a USB stick with songs, a special link to download a few extra songs. Would probably be cheaper and easier,
