Yeah but.... (you young ones! *shakes head*) people like something physical to own. *insert decrepit old person voice "back in my day.....we loved the album..something that had a story, artwork, info, lyrics......" .....none of which will fit on a usb stick so I really forget what my point is...  ......but it has something to do with you yoof!   |

I was looking through my special Cd's I've bought and had a bit more of a think of which ones I liked the most. I don't know if anyone here is familiar with it, but I thought the best set out one was the Strangeland deluxe album by Keane. If I knew how to insert pics I'd put one in to show, but alas I'm not that good yet!  It came with a few extra songs and a lovely DVD where they performed a few acoustic? songs, all packaged in a book (about A4 sized I think) with the lyrics and photos, and even a short story. So maybe something like that? It seems to incorporate a few of peoples idea in one, so I thought I'd throw it out there. Might be a bit much though too I suppose  |

I would love a signed CD size personal photo (never seen before) inside the preordered CDs and maybe even a lovely family shot too  I figure if we ever get Damien to do a DVD it would be an item to buy (on a merchandise table? perhaps). I still have my Damien signed Christmas bauble  |

That's an amazing looking package!! ( PS. I'm quite *cough* keen on early Keane but their new stuff, not so much.)  Looks expensive though. Not sure if expensive to produce merch would be the way to go. however, I guess a bit of both would work. Some very exclusive items and some high volume, cheaper stuff.. Glad I'm not the one having to make the decisions! Ha!  |

Just have to put this out there, if future planning is happening.  So many of us would KILL for a live performance DVD or downloadable vid from Damien. The D we see and hear at a gig is magical, as he bounces off the energy from his audience. It's been on our  wish list for a long time now! It's expensive to produce, we know that, but it would sell like hotcakes, we reckon! Please consider???   |

There are some great ideas, doctorloki yours are good too. It's is so good having newbies, just new ideas are always fresh. I am not modern or up to date with technology , but I think I would love a DVD of one of the shows. Yes I would luv a T -Shirt, that's my era too. Keep the ideas flowing though, it's great to read them all!
