Looking good here! hoping to get to the Instore at the Hyperdome with Smiley and Sis. then a race down the Gold Coast for the Sound Lounge Show. I just noticed that Damien is in Victoria doing a signing on the same day as he has his concerts in Qld, he's at the Broncos Leagues club that same night!!! That will make for a hectic and tiring day!.

Back from Woodgove.This turned out to be one of the best "instores" we've seen Damien have in Victoria!  We arrived early (as s do) and decided to take up a front posie near the stage which was set up in a large area outside Big W (the Media Pit, I think they called it). I guess our thought that was at least we were there, ( and visible) if the crowd wasn't huge. As the time approached for D to arrive, the signing "rat run" ie ("VIP area" for people with CDs ) filled up with more and more eager fans. They were playing C7 and I think quite a few people were attracted by it. Others were fans, some newbies but all were keenly anticipating his arrival. And then, he was there! He wore blue jeans, black tee and a black jacket-it was cool in Melbourne today, but warmer in the centre, thank goodness. He was introduced and we were told he'd do two or three songs. We were pretty lucky because he sang Never Forget

Hallelujah
Faith In Me Spunded incredible!  I noticed some ladies who were having their nails done were spellbound, jaws on the floor when he belted out Hallelujah,. The new songs received huge applause too, especially Faith In Me, though the crowd joined happily when D started a singalong with Without A Fight ie the oh oh oh oh ohhhhs! Signing afterward went for about an hour, which was great. We were first up (that's how security did it), so we had to be quick, of course, because D had many people to meet and was on a tight schedule, as we knew. He was as gorgeous as ever. It was so cool to see Chapter Seven everywhere and many people clutching it! Have a feeling sales were good today.  |

Thanks Trilly. I love the bit about the ladies having their nails done. I hope they didn't smudge them.
Totally understand the jaw dropping. Really good to see that he did 5 songs. What a champ.

Yep, Braff, huge effort from Mr L today, with The Broncos on tonight. Have to mention the several young ladies that we spoke to who were totally besotted by D today.  He absolutely amazed and charmed them, (well, everyone of course!) as he does. I laughed when they asked if he was married. We explained he was, very happily so! Haha! |

awwww that's so lovely that the young ladies were besotted.....it's terrific when D charms the younger ones too  Have always loved instores and it's great Damien picked up new admirers and fans also great when a few is 5  Thanks for the report Trilly  D is sounding and looking good  |

I can't add much more than what Trilly has already said, it was so nice seeing Damien again and it was nice seeing so many people enjoying Damien's music, I heard the announcer say that the cd's that they had, had sold out but they went and got some more from Sanity, hopefully that will have it moving up on their charts, it was sitting at number 10 yesterday, I think quite a lot of people were quite impressed, I know one of the girls who was on the organizing team changed her opinion, she was in love with him after his appearance and getting to meet him.
