Cool bananas! Sounds fabulous! Oh mean to say, wonder why D left out Faith In Me and You And I? Two of the standouts on the album IMO. And did anyone ask him about Special Olympics Opening Ceremony?

Funny you should ask, Ms Smiley. Re the omitted songs, D mentioned them afterwards but said he couldn't fit them all in! I kinda get it though. The mood was so up, he just went with it. You and I would have been brilliant but I guess he ran out of time. Believe me, Last Sad Song really was sensational !!
Yep, I've asked him re the SO but he's playing his cards close to his chest on that one . :)0

I Can Stop You Crying will be the new single. I hope I hear it next week.

Beautiful song, but I'm a tad disappointed it's not Last Sad Song, which I think is much more commercial. I suppose with all the input from a legend such as Joe Melson it makes sense to release it as the single.

Must be hard to pick songs for the shows. To be honest I can't remember which ones were missed at each of the shows we saw. The music was still really new at that stage. I'm obsessed with A Million Reasons at the moment, but I keep remembering how Damien sang it at Redcliffe. A little faster I think, and a bit playful at the start. But wow..this song really hits the spot! I think I've said it before but the songs from Chapter Seven are even better live! Much more earthy and connected.

Damien is at his best as a live performer, no doubt, it's just who he is, as someone said to me at Thornbury. However I think Chapter Seven is the closest he has come so far to recording the warmth in his voice we hear live. I love his vocals on the album and enjoy both the live versions and the recorded ones. He altered Halfway Heart a bit in the chorus this time. I adore the recorded version. It's my current fave! <3

I think you are right all, this album you can nearly hear it live......not quiet as nothing like the real upfront and personal version!
