Wow what a night, support act was really good but you could tell by the audience who they had come to see. Eric came out first and in sauntered Damien complete with his hat . Started off with Beautiful and quiet a few chp7 songs. Audience one requested Nessum Dorma and another lady at our table in a wheelchair wanted Danny Boy, so a Damien kindly did both. A very active audience and Eric and Damien bounced off each other that had the people in stitches. Big applause for Halfway heart and lots of clapping to the music. Damien's version of Nessum Dorma bought most to their feet . Mixed audience and my friend is now a devoted fan. You could tell the crowd did not want him to end, lots of yelling and table hitting until Damien came back and did Pretty woman, which a few got up to dance too. A couple danced to Hallelujah and Damien commented how they went from slow to a jive and slow again. He finished with Strongger than Superman by himself. Fair bit of oh nos when he announced he had no chot7 CDs for sale. Not many others at all. Said they sold out at Norths on Friday night . So I lost mine again as my son is off to Italy tomorrow and is taking a signed copy of that and RJ over for him. Damien was quite chuffed about that and googled to see who he is and seemed rather impressed. Big hugs with Sue and Marg and then we left. Ha Damien tried to do a selfie with me but it went all pear shaped so it was deleted. He was in good spirit, but disappointed he never mentioned You and I and the song writing comp. sorry this is not that good but exhausted after big birthday party for GS who turned 2 today. Now just have to find another Cpt7 for myself again.

Gosh Lorraine really appreciate your coming in to give us a report on the show....that bouncing off the wall is wonderful and he is most obliging with folk....glad Damien and Eric had such a good time too as the audience love that. Wonderful you had such a good time and your friend has become a fan Shame about not being able to get a copy of Chapter 7....they really need to keep their stocks up. Would be interested to know the person your son is taking the 2 CDs to too Also a shame about the selfie Thanks again

Well it certainly sounds like it has followed on from the previous concerts and getting everybody in a good mood and clapping along.

What a shame but also good that they ran out of Chapter Seven. Good, meaning that they have sold a lot but not good if they didn't take enough. I think Damien underestimates his popularity and especially after the sort of concert you have described then people want more. If they don't already have the CD then they want to get it from the concert and have it signed.

Also, being restricted with luggage weight wouldn't help but between Damien and Eric they should try to fit as many in as they can. I wonder if they sold more than they thought they would at the show in Brisbane the night before

Unfortunately as you know Lorraine, it is not easy to get Chapter Seven in the store. I hope those that missed out do try though. Good luck to you to get a replacement. Hi Lorraine, thank you so much the report! Sounds like all had a wonderful night too. I hope you get a copy of the CD too! What a shame about the selfie......look it has taken me a few attempts now as I just do not photograph well, not a fan of having pic taken as I get all nervous etc. this one here was taken by Dmac at the Basement in Sydney! It is the best one I have. Glad to hear your friend enjoyed the show and is now a fan too! Pretty hard not to like his music. But yes Eric and Damien are becoming quiet the showmen.......are truly so funny too! Thanks again Lorraine.
