A shame the reporter didn't notice that Damien and Eils have a young daughter Kikki

From the green fields of County Kildare in Ireland to Sydney's industrial inner west, and then onto the Australian Idol winner's platform, Damien Leith has come a long way and looks set to travel a little more with his young family.
The 2006 Idol champion, his wife Eileen Stapleton and their boys Jarvis and Jagger, will see their period Petersham house go under the hammer on November 1 through McGrath Leichhardt agent Jonathan Ford.
Back in 2011, the four-bedroom, three-bathroom house on 278 sq m cost the couple $940,000.
Over the past year the median sale price for houses in the leafy suburb has been $998,000 according to RP data statistics.
The Irish-born songster, however, looks to fetch more than $1.2 million if recent sales in the neighbourhood are any indication.
The Night of My Life singer and his wife previously lived in Stanmore, but sold their unit after Leith's reality TV gong thrust him into the spotlight.
Since the high profile win, Leith has released seven albums, hosted TV shows and even written two novels.
This year his latest album, Chapter Seven, received rave reviews and had him touring throughout Australia and Europe. Perhaps the current property listing is perfect
"I like to keep moving and try to do as much as possible; I find it very hard to sit still." DAMIEN LEITH
timing for the artist who has just two more dates on his domestic tour.
Leith will be appearing at the Rooty Hill RSL on October 17 and at the Asquith Leagues Club in Waitara on October 18.
But in September the performer might have been giving the Daily Telegraph a few clues on his impending home sale when during an interview he revealed:
"I like to keep moving and try to do as much as possible; I find it very hard to sit still.
It's a funny business, it's really up and down; you have to keep working on different things."
The updated Victorian cottage is freestanding with a northern aspect. Set in a quiet, cul-de-sac setting, it has multiple living areas, a kitchen with syone benchtops and DeLonghi gas appliances.
Outdoors, the parents of two small boys have put in landscaped gardens with level lawns, a backyard studio and an upper level attic study.
