Another brilliant show, I don't know how Damien remembers the script so well but then it sort of flows. The band were in top form, as was Damien, and the a-capella solos were spine tingling as usual. This is a show you never get tired of watching and I always dread when I know it's coming to an end and fortunately for me I've had another show to look forward to, but my run is coming to an end too, just the Launceston show to come now in a couple of weeks. It was a great crowd at Geelong and Damien responded accordingly, it must be so thrilling for the performers to get such positive feedback. This show was sold out and is a great venue. They actually have two theatres and Evita was on in the other one so a big crowd. To all who have seen it you know exactly what I mean, I honestly think that Damien was a Hypnotist in a former life as the audience were spellbound, and so appreciative. The lady I was sitting next to had never seen D live although had several of his albums and she was so smitten... she had the tissues out at one stage and I won't give the 'when' away as you would all know. The meet and greet was a little disorganised, no queue, just a mass of people around Damien and pot luck when you got to see him, but he was again very generous with his time. Anybody who wants to know more can check out my review on Palms at Crown. JUST REMEMBER.....YOU NEED TO HAVE RAIN TO GET THE RAINBOW
