and Mark Holdenignited an online campaign

Aren't people just awful ..... I will never ever forget Kyles comment to Jess M.....that has stuck with me and I have not liked or respected the man since. It's a tough enough industry anyway....how to kill a persons confidence and self esteem in 10 secs .

Damien has always had a lovely face and his eyes always lit up when he smiled.

Kyle's Comments and Mark's too, were rude and cruel. I will not repeat what they said here but they were totally unnecessary.

I always said at the time and I know I wasn't the only one that it was a singing competition not a beauty pageant (although Damien in my eyes had a good chance of winning that too).

I also used to say that the contestants should stand behind a curtain and be judged on their voice alone, not be judged by perceived appearance.

A few years later The Voice was born. Mmmmmmm ! I wonder if I should ask for Royalties.
