Catch the Wind 10 Yrs On- Lizottes Friday March 15 2019

Friday March 15, 2019 Lizottes (Newcastle) Catch the Wind 10 yrs Anniversary.
Damien was in black with the grey and black jacket. He and Eric were the performers. We started with:

* Guitar Man
* Beautiful
* If
He told a funny story about how the first conversation with a fairly silent album producer was about the producer's foot odour
then we had
* Annie's Song (aka Granny's Song)
* Baby I Love Your Way
* You'll Never Walk Alone
* Alone
* Wild World, I then gave Damien a pair of very stylish red tartan underpants with a trunk.
* Amazing Grace
INTERVAL
Damien came back out on his own, minus his jacket. He's looking very fit too.
* New Song Feels Like Home was very well received.
* Still Miss Us (a request and beautiful rendition)
* Songbird (request) Eric had a little play with undies.
* All I Want is You
* Universal Soldier (part of it) (request)
* 22 Steps (request)
* Blue Bayou (request)
* Tenterfield Saddler (request)

Damien and Eric were in fine voice even though Damien was starting to have a cold.
It was a terrific night with a very enthusiastic audience who were more than happy to sing along and get into it. The damienites present were Braffy, catchthewind, dmac and we met up with Anny and her dh. There were also 3 friends at our table. The food at Lizottes is always wonderful. Damien and Eric came out to the merchandise table and again Damien was very generous with his time.
