some of my thoughts on you Damien.

I posted this on the Idol website, But youll probably never find it there.. i Hope you read this.

"I have to say I'm a fan of Damien. I am a 29 year old male, I have sung vocals in a band, I love my music more than anyone I know.. I am the most analytical ( break things down and analyse them ) person I know, Picking to bits all the acts for what they really are, and I cant fault Damien. Apart from the fact he still hasn't shown us his BEST!

Every time he sings I get excited. I would buy his album ( and thats saying a lot, I have never even considered any other/previous Idols ) and I look forward to him singing every week..

I want him to blow us away with a modern number, perhaps from "Live" or someone who sings falscetto ( sp) mabye Jeff Buckley ( youngn's wont know him you should have a look for him as he is great )

He is a nice , gracious and humble person, he loves his wife dearly, and looks the part.

I really cant fault him, and I hope the younger crowd see his talent for what it is.. Pure unadulterated beauty.

I have never heard a singer with such clear diction, perfect pitch,, brilliant range, and MAN DOES HE CONNECT! - he draws you in to what he feels, and like Mark said "ALWAYS leaves you wanting more."

I cant wait to see Him sing a couple of songs ( when the Numbers go down a bit)..

Please PPL if you Vote for anyone.. Vote for Damien Leath!

He would make the greatest Australian Idol we have ever had..

He has the potential to really take on the world in terms of international stardom..

The world is your oyster Damien, Idol is just a stepping stone for you..

Take whats yours in both hands and hold tight!!

Please Blow us away again! CLAIM THE TITLE! It is yours for the taking.. People are starting to get to know you, and as I do, they will love you for what you are.. A damn beautiful soul, with the ability to show that soul.

If I were to ask one thing.. ( if by chance you ever read this)

Sing the "Live" song - Mystery.. you would truly nail it, and it would suit you. ( especially the high part In the middle of the song.

That's a nice message voltus and I'm in full agreement - Damien is the only Idol from whom I have ever considered buying a CD. And better than that, I can't wait until that CD is released!

If nothing else, the whole country is now aware of what a talent he has and his career can now blossom into where he wants to take it.

I am with you in terms of the Jeff Buckley thing too. Which song would you pick? I think I mentioned elsewhere about the song "Grace", but what about "Lover you should've come over" or "Last Goodbye" or "Once was opened" or "everybody here wants you"?
