Dearest Damien, I want you to know how upset & disgusted I am with the way Mark Holden treats you, its a travesty to say the least, tonight with Celebration, he outdid himself with the nasty comments, and the body language. I am convinced this man is soooo jealous of you, it is eating him up, he doesnt even try to hide it anymore, all very confusing when the only good comment I can remember him giving you was "you always leave us wanting more Damien" he contradicts himself so much I cant believe it. Tonight you made that song so much fun, you are such a wonderful, lovely, beautiful person inside & out, My heart ached for you it truly did, I wanted to give you a big hug, he is hateful through and through, if this carry on is for publicity for the show, all its doing is making him look a complete and utter fool. Well done Damien, you are the best, hope Eileen & Jarv are well. Tell your wife she is a very pretty lady, you make a lovely couple.

I've been on the phone with my friends (male and female) as we like to have a chat about idol after the show. They agree that you were unfairly sledged tonight Damien. I felt quite sick watching in fact. It was bad enough in design school when we'd have to deal with the often narky judging panels in front of our fellow students, but to have to be a plaything for the judges on tv must be unbearable for all of you each week. Whoever wins the recording contracts at the end of this has gone through a grinding process and you have my respect for dealing with it.

I was particularly annoyed this week with Mark's attitude he has continued from last week, turning away from the contestants, looking as though he can't speak. He knows he's doing it for dramatic effect and making them feel stressed as to what he's about to say. Bravo to Marcia for trying to reign him in when he starts this cr*p.

That was lovely :-) Thank you. Holden needs to extract his over-inflated egotistical head out his behind and cop on to reality. Truth is, he's a “has been” that quite frankly never was. It's so sad and pathetic that a grown man believes that the only means necessary of expressing his opinion is by resorting to vulgarity or degrading the contestants. At least Damien has the courage of his convictions.
Mark, when you wake up from the goo-goo-gooey land that you seem to live on here’s a few home truths: Damien is an extremely talented singer-songwriter, who has a very successful and long career path ahead of him. You on the other hand will fade into the oblivion as a long forgotten part of Australian Idol.
