OH MY GOD Damien you really kicked butt. I knew you would do it. I knew from the first note you sung in 'Crying' that if Mark didn't give you a touch down I was going to kick the television in! You made the other 3 sound very ordinary! I reckon you are gonna win Idol. I know I sound like a rambling fan but I can't contain myself. That was one of the most exciting performances I have ever seen. I know others have said 'you sent shivers down their spines' - that's what you did to me tonight.
Please come and do a concert in Canberra ... please, please, please.

Congratulations Damien on a brilliant performance this evening! You were totally sublime and I'm still coming down to earth after being mesmerized by you once again. Two minutes for each song was just not enough but you weaved your magic and have now raised the bar in the competition to the point that the other contestants do not even come close to you.
Hearing you sing Crying brought tears to my eyes, I could feel the feeling you were projecting in the song. I think even Roy Orbison was looking down on you and applauding. I rejoiced in Hallelujah, you could have heard a pin drop while you were singing, it was so, so beautiful. And the fact that you managed to re-arrange a song that goes for over six minutes into two minutes of absolute perfection is a credit to you. And two touchdowns to boot!! Way to go!! I think you have won the heart of a nation and we're keeping you, Ireland can't have you back! ;D
