hmm ......thats a hard choice i loved all those performances so much & they all got the famous touchdown ;D.
But um.....what about Damiens version of Nessun Dorma?, that would be kool.
out of that list tho just have to go with Halleluyah . either of them would be good tho.

I was gonna pick the easy option and go with any of them....I'd love Wicked Game.... but then i though maybe Hallejulah would be better with 'Night Of My Life' so i picked that........i dunno lol they are all good

Crying. I'm dying to hear him sing the whole song. Listening to him sing it right now. My husband said that he thought Damo's version was better than Roy's but I didn't think that was possible, but then I listened to my Roy Orbison CD and he was right. What an arrangement! What a voice!

Yes, just made my girlfriend listen to Damo, shes not really into Idol, and she was blown away and said I dont even know who he is but I will buy his c.d. when it comes out, then I showed her this site and all the great stuff & pics, she laughed and said you are really obsessed with him arent you, hahahahaha. (This is from 43 & 52 yr old women) hahahaahh.

I'm voting for Message to My Girl - it still gives me goosebumps every time I hear it. Actually, all his songs give me goosebumps but this one gives me double!

I love all those songs that have been listed. My very favourite performances would have to be Hallelujah and Crying, how I loved hearing him sing a Roy Orbison number, I am a very big fan and it would be very rare for anyone to be able to do his songs justice. I would maybe go slightly towards Hallelujah, it was such an important performance for Damien and the way he sang it during the auditions too, and it is what made me sit up and take notice of him, I feel very sentimental towards this song, his version was really haunting, I would love to see it
as a bonus track with his winning single.

To be honest, all of them are just too superb to have to pick one. I loved Message to my girl, it was such a sweet, soulful version. I also loooooooved Crying (it had all of us sobbing our hearts out).

Crying for sure. That was the night I jumped camps. He followed up Crying with Hallelujah and then the following week with Nessun Dorma. He hasn't and i haven't looked back. Cheers to all the middle aged women

I always listen to Wicked Game in between all the other songs....Nessum Dorma, Wicked Game, High & Dry, Wicked Game, Message to my girl, Wicked Game....and so it goes...

I said Hallelujah. It's my favourite on the list. But track 2 could be another track from the album, like Shannon's first single. Or a mix of the A-Side like Anthony's first single.

And anyways who's to say the single "will" be 2 tracks. It could have a third.
