Mine has always been a teal when I have the Anniversary banner up. It doesn't seem to have changed for me Spud?

Oh, lol. Well I got a new monitor so maybe the old one was weird. Actually, I know it was weird, that's why I got a new one. (Although I do think it looked better with navy blue rather than teal, even though it never really was navy blue.)

Hey Tarapanda, :wavesanta: I'm sorry you can't view the vids, but as far as I know it would have to be something to do with your computer, not a DLO problem. Perhaps you need Adobe reader 9 to view? or some other programme to help you view them. Are you able to view youtube ok? Spud might be able to help you, she's a *guru* with these sorts of things.

Lol Roxy, I really have no idea how to fix anything unless I have come across the problem before and fixed it myself. Tarapanda, I think you should first try Roxy's suggestions (although I don't know why you would need Adobe Reader 9, isn't that for viewing PDFs? ). If it still doesn't work, check if you have the latest flash player installed on your computer. (I think you could find that out by checking if YouTube videos work.) What actually appears when you try and watch Di's MySpace videos? Is there any sound? If none of that works, you could try downloading the video and watching it on your computer. In case you aren't sure how to do that, you can read my instructions here. (I know it says YouTube videos in the title, but it works for MySpace videos as well.) Apart from that, sorry, I have no idea.

haha, Spud, Im not sure why I mentioned Adobe 9, I think it was because a friend of mine recently had troubles watching videos and she downloaded that one and it seemed to work! Unless it was the Flashplayer? It was one of them anyway.
Hope you get it sorted Tarapanda. ;D

Am wondering how other people feel about "members" who only post in the games section (or also in the odd movie or music thread) ? Do we have to have them on our forum? I would like to see this forum frequented by Damien fans, rather than "forum -any will do-fans".

Hi Smiley,I guess some people just like to go into certain areas or maybe arn't comfortable with the chit chat side of things, but when it comes down to it for me I havn't been on this forum for as long as some of you Damienites but I still feel as passionately about promoting D wherever and whenever as you guys do,and I guess D and most of the regulars here know who is who.Not sure how we could stop people....

Smiley, i agree I find it odd and don't really understand why some members only post in those kind of threads, and i think we all would like as much members and possible to get involved in Damien threads. Like Kazza said, they may not feel comfortable with doing that yet, but for whatever reason it is, hopefully soon there will be more Damien talk and less games

Am wondering how other people feel about "members" who only post in the games section (or also in the odd movie or music thread) ? Do we have to have them on our forum? I would like to see this forum frequented by Damien fans, rather than "forum -any will do-fans". Since you posed this as an open question, Smiley, I'll give you my honest opinion. I think Kazza has a point that some people are reluctant to join in the chat, or post in D's threads because many of us have been around for a long time and know each other well, so possibly find it a little intimidating to just jump in. Perhaps it's a bit of a failure to be welcoming on our part also ..but some people are just shy and still wish to be part of the group. This is all fine by me as long as they respect D. Others, (and they know who they are) have absolutely no interest in Damien or his career and simply use our forum as a meeting place or, being totally frank, a means of pushing their own particular barrow. I object to their presence in principle and even more so when they are rude re Damien. I see no good reason to tolerate them at all, apart from (unfortunate) precedent.

Your last paragraph is what (who) I am referring to Trilly.
I don't think the shy/new one's, who are real Damien fans, do that at all. They often don't post much, just read up and occasionally make a comment in a Damien thread. I can see how it would be hard to join in the chit chat, Kazza, that's understandable- but I also think we are very welcoming to our new members.
Anyway - it obviously bothers me more than others- I'll have to learn to live with it I guess.

*puts Mods hat on so you don't get me confused as posting as a member* This is an open forum open to anyone. Obviously an interest in Damien and his career is our main focus. We are aware that there are some (only a couple) that don't fall into this category. However, they are free to join up and they have. We have rules and regulations on the Board and if these are breached then the member must face the consequences. We also have members who sign in every day or near abouts and have NEVER posted at all. I would like to think that we are a welcoming forum. If there is anyone reading this who has an issue with that then please send a pm to one of the Mods to let us know. This is especially for the members who don't post, but anyone is free to pm a Mod about any issues. To send a pm, the easiest way is to click on our name. You will find a list of the Moderators at the front in Updates, Information and Assistance at the top of the home page. This is also where you will find the Forum Guidelines. Here is a direct link. www.dleithonline.proboards101.com/index.cgi?board=info&action=display&thread=3733Damien Leith Online is a Forum for everyone to enjoy
