What a great show. I nearly ate my whole hand biting my nails with excitement and my husband had to tell me to relax and calm down within the first five minutes.
He was so great!!!! So excited. It's a amazing when one of your fave shows can be even cooler than normal...

It has just finished here -- very funny -- I enjoyed it very much --- pity the calves of power didn't get a work out on the bike.......... but nice to hear his voice even when its the Lord of the Rings Hmmm. Wracking my brain, I'm sure I remember Trilly demanding that very thing - shouting from the audience "Calves!of!Power!"Calves!of!Power!"Calves!of!Power! " during the set up between takes.  *well, at least that's wot I recall, luv*  |

That was a lot of fun! I haven't laughed so much in ages! Damien isn't only a brilliant singer, he's a natural comedian also. That Irish wit was on full display tonight. I never tire of hearing that gorgeous voice!  Thanks to Adam Hills for being a terrific host! ABC TV: you won a new fan tonight!  |

They kinda cheated - most of the songs he sang were ones he sang on Idol  "How can we teeeeeeeelllllllll/ That they are Ooooooorrrrcccs" (to tune of High and Dry) I needed a dose of Damien - I left to brave the traffic this morning and realized I left TWJ at home! My blood pressure went  I remember at the taping Adam Hills explaining that the guests got to choose the songs they wanted to sing, and gave them time to rehearse it with the book (so it wouldnt' be disaster TV). Also, in the taping, there was more comments about them interrupting him and stopping him before he got to the high parts - that seems to have been edited out (maybe they were all talking over each other or the segment was too long cos he went back and did it again I think - Trilly and Selestial could confirm perhaps). |

Trying to think of something bad like bunny boiling or something but couldn't possibly....Would probably be something like make you eat a bowl of boiled spinach with Dean Geyer on surround sound or something.... |
