Note on the Shirt Off Affair:
a bloke shouts out "take your shirt off" and Damo says something like "who said that? Just wait 'til the lights come on - we'll find you!"...
Then someone else says "take your shirt off" followed by someone else saying "yeah, do it!!!" and D says "Hey? What's going on here? Believe me, if I take my shirt off you'll all be running for the door!" *laughter from crowd* Then D says "you know, I've been so busy lately that I've had to cut back my work-out to six days a week from 7 days a week...so the 'ole six pack isn't what it used to be...." *uproarous laughter from crowd*....
ah, we laughed!

Someone in our row said something and Damien said "Someone down here just said (blah). I'm watching you lot!" What did that person say?! I completely missed it, Damien talked too fast! It sounded like "Is that a ____?" He was being very witty! I like how he handled the "Take you shirt off!" situation (it wasn't us, unfortunately, it was a bloke  ) D: (takes guitar off) Slip into something more comfortable! (does cute action) I'll leave it at that, there are kids in the audience. Bloke: Take your shirt off! D: Take your shirt off?! That's the third time someone's said that! I haven't been working out as much as I used to; now it's only 6 days instead of 7. You don't want to see what's under here; if you did, you'd all be running for the door. You think it's funny, but it's true."  On top of that and Celebration, he sang part of Oaklahoma edit: Snap, A2! ;D |

One is fauny-brown and has the barcelona-chair picture from the official site on it; the other one is light blue and has the picture of him walking against the Sydney skyline. They're $35 each. #1 is on a brown background with no box around it, and the buildings on #2 have been turned into silhouette Thanks for that Hyp. I think I'll go for the blue one. My daughter said that she'll get one for me.  |

...about those trousers too....D, you've got a great arse so show it off. Believe me, I wasn't looking for long because I was focussing on the stellar singing and enthusiastic thigh slapping that was going on. I know baggy trousers are 'in' in some fashion circles, but when someone is treated to lovely guitar arms, then they can't help but hanker for a cute bum too. (it's like buying a nice bra and the shop not having the matching knickers in stock...they exist, but they're not available to appreciate)
Having said that, he probably wears baggy jeans on purpose because he knows that we may be looking....
And for those who are thinking "he's married though, hands off b***h", put it this way....I may window shop at Chanel, but it doesn't mean I'm going to buy anything! Ha ha.
And I love it when I see people perving at my hubbie's arse.
(I guess you want to hear more about the gig and the actual music though, eh?)

Shirt off banter You just reminded me...thanks A2 & hyper  Can't remember the 'transcript' but also nattered on about J a bit...about how now J has "untrained whips" but that won't last long...he'll soon be telling "dad" what to do (Was tempted to yell out...yeah...soon be asking for the car keys...but didn't...you can see my latent yobbo tendencies here ...lol!)
