We were back stage about half an hour (ummm about as long as it took for me to drink a beer and chat to D ha ha). Crushangel won the comp - the most incredible cross stitch portrait of Damien you will ever see. A worthy winner. Crush AND Womby? Or did Crush just take Womby as her friend? I thought there were two winners who each took a friend.  |

Guys tonight was a bit mixed up with the passes - the winners tonight can tell more later - but other nights I think it will be as it was meant to be - anyway probably more will be posted tomorrow about all that from those who know more  |

You're welcome Dianne. Wow, 2 nights of the most incredible memories - last night the QM2 and tonight Damien's wonderful concert! What a special special week! I feel like I'm home much earlier than expected so I'll stick around a while, have a late start at work tomorrow (planned that well, lol)

 THE CONCERT WAS MAGIC  I AM GOING TONIGHT AND ON SUNDAY AND I WISH I HAD TICKETS TO FRIDAY AND SATURDAY AS WELL  ;D ;D ;D Everyone who is going to a concert will love it. Damien looked absolutely hunkified. We were so close and I did a Neski. I have the water bottle (thank you Womby). I almost had the nice white towel that he used to mop the brow but security wasn't too happy with that idea. I feel awful now after reading Shimmy's story about flash. i used the camera for the first time and I believe I had flash on. Will have to check before tonight. I didn't know how to use the zoom (so I could get just the face) until after the concert and Carlene showed me. Will be on a mission tonight. I don't know how many photos I took and I don't know how to put them up. I had my new digital camera plus my ever faithful film camera and I know I took 19 on that camera alone. (Yes with flash). I will have to buy more film for tonight. I was the 'M' from Ozbrats siggy. - big grin on my face. That was quite appropriate because for those of you who read my poem fro the backstage pass the last lines were I'll be the one big grin on my face. I didn't realize who I was until DD pointed here one out in her post earlier. For those of you missing out.......hang in there and I feel really sorry for you. KAMI...Crushangel found out that he is doing a second performance in Tasmania in a church. Damien didn't know the details so maybe you could follow it up. I have had two and a half hours sleep. I had to get up again at 4 am. Very shortly I have to start the 'get up and get ready for school' nag speech. I can't wait for tonight to meet up with more Damienites.

The water bottle?!?!?!  You know, I prefer photos without flash anyway, even if they are blurry....you preserve some of the lighting. With flash, everything looks flat...and yeah, I wonder if D has any retinas left?  Wow...starting to think that my tickets to one measley concert arent enough!! Cant wait though, and I'm glad you guys have had a great night  |
