Same with my mum. She lives in Queensland on the Sunshine Coast, so am tryyyyyyyyiinnnnng to persuade her to come down to Brissy. Haha keep trying! |

*ahem* SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!  Crushangel, how do I get the tickets? *has never needed to know about things like this* Call 62211700...It's all seated but apparently there is room in front of the stage to stand, maybe we can meet up near the stage lol. |

...We got tickets.  No, that doesn't seem adequate. WE GOT TICKETS!!!!!! It was a bit of an adventure because first my mother called the number but got told we'd have to go in since we don't have a credit card, so she called my sister who called my brother who does have a credit card, and he got them for us. He said the lady on the phone laughed when he said he wanted tickets for Damien Leith's concert. The way these tickets are selling is incredible!  So my mother, sister and I are going. Apparently they're up to the 'first elevated level' - which means nothing to me because I've never been there, but it sounds good enough for me. My mother is going into fangirly hysterics as I speak.  |

So happy for you and Angel!!! That's fantastic Kami - and, if you both end up at the front standing area then the 100% strike rate stays intact Amazing they are selling fast when there doesn't seem to be much advertising! Isn't that fantastic! Great to see your Mums are going as well and it all worked out! |

    Oh Kami I am so happy for you. I know that Crushangel is seeing Damien in Sydney but you were not. It is fantastic Crush that you found this out. We have other forum members from Tassie too and I am trying to remember who they are. I just remembered...Flynn is one. I might send a pm to let Flynn know. Now we need Damien to go to Perth and Adelaide for all our friends there. Thank god my mum saw that tiny tiny tiny add in the local paper, the examiner, or it could of been sold out before we knew anything about it. Ok I hope if there is any other forum members from Tassie that we can let them know soon. I hope Damien goes to Adelaide and Perth soon for all the fans there. |

Thanks everyone for thinking of us poor unfortunates in Perth (& Adelaide), but I have it from a high authority that Damien won't be coming to Perth until the album tour! So we will just
have to be patient!! (not easy!!!!!) Don't tire him out all you screaming east coast fans - just two encores, please!!!

Aww... Perth seems to miss out on everything. I still can't believe my luck. It's such a privilege to have Damien do a concert here so early (the Tasmanian Idol auditions are on the days directly following - I wonder if that could have had anything to do with it??) and especially for it to be at the casino and not at the DEC, where the stage is so huge you don't get to see anything! It's funny... I've been thinking all along that I'd be going to see him at Wrest Point. Wishful thinking I guess - I've never been in there before... and after the concert I will probably never be allowed back in.   |

I'm very glad for you guys, as I'm sure you are a bit like Perth and tend to miss out on all of the big gigs that come to Australia.
I'm imagining your concert venue is a bit like the concert hall we have at our Burswood Casino, which is very flash and much more intimate that a big concert place! I hope you'll feel relaxed enough to do some loud squeeeeeeeeeeeing though and some boogying!!

Wrest Point is a really nice venue - I've only been there once years ago, but remember it to be lovely!
