I'm very glad for you guys, as I'm sure you are a bit like Perth and tend to miss out on all of the big gigs that come to Australia. I'm imagining your concert venue is a bit like the concert hall we have at our Burswood Casino, which is very flash and much more intimate that a big concert place! I hope you'll feel relaxed enough to do some loud squeeeeeeeeeeeing though and some boogying!! Yeah you're right we do miss out on heaps of stuff in Tassie, am very surprised that he is doing a show here, didn't think anything would happen here til at least May. Hope he goes to Perth soon. |

...We got tickets.  No, that doesn't seem adequate. WE GOT TICKETS!!!!!! It was a bit of an adventure because first my mother called the number but got told we'd have to go in since we don't have a credit card, so she called my sister who called my brother who does have a credit card, and he got them for us. He said the lady on the phone laughed when he said he wanted tickets for Damien Leith's concert. The way these tickets are selling is incredible!  So my mother, sister and I are going. Apparently they're up to the 'first elevated level' - which means nothing to me because I've never been there, but it sounds good enough for me. My mother is going into fangirly hysterics as I speak.  Kami that's wonderful! I'm so glad that he's going to Hobart so all the Tassie Damienites can see him. Now we just need to get him to Adelaide and Perth.  |

OMG, I go out for tea and look what I miss! I really, really pleased for you Tassie fans.  But really, Adelaide is only an hour's flight away! gj, love to see you at Thebby (I think you're right about the choice of venue) if it happens, but the Fringe is probably an obstacle. |

 I didn't think he would come all the way down here, especially since this concert doesn't seem to be part of the actual tour, but I was still kind of hoping. I really like everything I've heard of his. Oh well, the main thing is that Damien comes and performs. |

Mark told me he would want to come to Tassie but hasn't been asked, probably as it's not part of the tour. They probably haven't even thought about a support act for Tassie yet. |
