Myst I think Damien heard our singing at the concert so I think he has made it a Listening Party --- e.g. he sings we listen -- probably safest that way.... lol ... you are correct gj   Yes, I agree. I think my granddaughter has inherited her terrible singing voice from me, poor baby. ;D I could hear her singing along to NOML over the phone, OMG.  Her singing along to Unchained Melody was even worse and to think I passed that onto her! |

OMG People ran up on stage?  ?? this is going to be an interesting report when Mosaic gets back! Thanks so much Mysterri - I wish you were there, I hope you're enjoying these glimpses at least though. I just got in myself from dinner so looking forward to hearing more later - off for a little while now though. What on earth will happen now there was a stage rush! OMG! I can't even believe it! |

OMG People ran up on stage? ?? this is going to be an interesting report when Mosaic gets back! Thanks so much Mysterri - I wish you were there, I hope you're enjoying these glimpses at least though. I just got in myself from dinner so looking forward to hearing more later - off for a little while now though. What on earth will happen now there was a stage rush! OMG! I can't even believe it! I'm a bit gobsmacked by this as well Shims. One minute I was listening to Damien singing Unchained Melody and the next thing I hear my daughter screaming down the phone "Oh my God, oh my God, he's being mobbed, he's being mobbed on stage." I'm waiting for my daughter to get back to me and that probably won't be until after they leave Palms. I'll keep you all updated. |

OK, now I'm bawling! I just heard Damien singing Come To Me!   ;D It was absolutely beautiful even over a mobile phone. It sounded like it was just Damien and his guitar. If that kid of mine doesn't take some amazing photos and videos I'm going to send her to her room until she's 40 and I don't care what her husband says! That is so nice that you are listening on the phone....not quite the same as being there I know, but it's pretty good all the same. ;D and yes if your daughter doesn't get you some good pics for your creative mind to make siggys out of.....I will stand by you when the police come knocking on your door wanting to know why you have your daughter locked up! |

I'm really interested in the Singing Party thingy that was mentioned. I would really love to go to that and I've told DH that I'm going! Don't know how, but I am!! Roxy has a photo of me that she is going to take to the concert in Brisbane on 2nd March. She was hoping to get Damien to sign it for me and also have him photographed holding my pic. Since the collapse of the backstage pass competition I don't think she'll be able to do all of that for me. Disappointing for everyone but not to worry. I just want to go to the Singing Party and meet Damien and the Damienites. Gawd, it's not too much to ask is it? ;D I'm still taking it with me Mysterri......I'll try my best..trust me  I may not get a pic with him holding it...but I'll try and get someone to get him to sign it anyway if it's possible ok. ;D |

Thanks Roxy, it's good to have some moral support. I'm anxiously waiting on a call from my daughter. I just phoned her and all I got was her message bank. Left a message to phone me ASAP, I won't sleep until she does.

Things are very quiet here at the moment! I'm wondering if my daughter is meeting with Damien at this very moment (in my dreams!). I did ask her to take some nice photos of Mark Wilkinson for Ozbrat but it's a surprise so shhhhhhh!

Yeah Winter, I hope there is something left of Damien for you lovelies tomorrow night. ;D Seriously though, I do worry about him!
Even though I was listening over the phone, the vibe was truly electric and the audience were cheering wildly. My daughter's voice said it all, it was pure excitement and in total awe of Damien. She kept screaming down the phone at me, "Oh Mum, he is so gorgeous, he's absolutely gorgeous." Well I already know that, I've been telling her that for six months! ;D
